After a few hours of school, it was lunch time. I had a meeting to go to since I was a class rep. We talked about the upcoming school festival in a few weeks and how each class had to participate. While eating our lunches, ideas were being spread among us and I was debating whether to do a costume photo booth or a café of some sorts.

Quickly walking back to my class to put away the papers the student council gave us, I was stopped in front of my class by a boy who I recognized was in the class next to mine. He had black hair and a bored look on his face.

"I'm sorry, but it seems you aren't allowed inside." He said slowly and leaned on the wall next to the sliding doors.

"Um. . . and why am I not allowed in my own classroom?" I asked sternly, looking him in the eyes. I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I was told not to let you come in."

"What? By whom?"

Whoever is doing this has another thing coming. Get ready to catch these hands.

He studied the ground for a few seconds, trying to formulate a response. Then, he looked back up at me. His eyes seemed a little bit brighter, and the corners of his mouth were pulled up slightly. "You know what? Go on ahead. This could be entertaining." He said and then moved aside.

I was slightly confused as to why he said that, but I started walking into the room anyways. The first thing I saw was a group of girls sitting closely in a circle, whispering quietly among themselves. They kept stealing glances towards my seat and I looked over there to see what all the fuss was about.

"Bo-Bokuto?! What are you doing in here?" I saw him quickly drop my pencil case back in my book bag. His back was to me, but I could still tell he was surprised. He turned around quickly, his eyes wide from being caught red-handed.

"Oya! Akaashi! You weren't supposed to let her in!" Bokuto exclaimed as the so-called Akaashi walked in with a smirk on his face.

"Sorry Bokuto-San. I didn't realize this was who you were talking about." He said while giving me a knowing look.

Wait. But he just told me I couldn't go in . . . What is his deal. Why is he lying? Wait. Ohhhh. I see.

"So, are you going to answer me Bokuto?" He was struggling to come up with an answer, so I started walking towards him. He panicked and stepped away from my seat.

"I-I just needed a pencil! Yeah, I lost mine earlier." He said as I approached my desk. I looked at him perplexed.

Do you really expect me to believe that? You've got to be kidding right.

"Why couldn't you borrow one from your friend over there?" I looked back at Akaashi and he shrugged at me.

"He said he didn't want a pencil from me, but rather one from the pretty girl he met yesterday." He pointed at me. I felt my face turn hot. I turned back to Bokuto to see him in a flustered mess.

Panicking, Bokuto started waving his hands in the air in front of him. "I-I, He- I didn't-"

"Did you find a pencil?" I asked calmly even though I was screaming inside because he thinks I'm pretty. He shook his head, and I was about to respond, but the bell rang. Bokuto completely jumped at the opportunity to leave, dragging an annoyed Akaashi with him out the door.

Ok. What was that about?!

Sitting down in my seat and trying to settle my racing heart, I waited for our Sensei to lead us to P.E.

I walked home after school was over and thankfully, it wasn't raining. Upon entering my garden, I noticed my mom's car wasn't in the driveway, as to be expected. Going inside, I took my shoes off and headed to my room.

I set my book bag on my chair and looked for the crows. There were still a few handfuls of seeds in the bowl I had left for them.

Where could they be? They better not be hiding from me.

Then, a crow flew into my room and landed on my shoulder. The crow had silky, shiny hair, if that was even possible. It rubbed itself against my cheek then it flew over to the windowsill. It looked at me then at the ground.

I walked to the open window and looked at the ground. "Wha. What are they doing down there? How did they even get down there?!" I asked aloud and the beautiful crow next to me chirped once.

I left my room and raced outside.

These crows are going to be the death of me. They better not be hurt.

I finally saw them all on the grass by the big tree and to no surprise, the beautiful crow was sitting on the lowest branch looking down at them. Crouching next to them, I held out both of my arms. I wanted to take them back inside, but I couldn't carry them all or else I'd have to make more than 1 trip, and I was the kind of girl who liked getting things done the first time around.

I laid my palms on the ground and said "Come on guys. Let me take you all back inside."
The orange crow and tiny blonde crow both stepped onto my palms and made their ways up my arms. Soon the others were doing the same, even the stuck-up blonde crow. When they were all littered across my arms, I stood up and walked back to my room.

They all crawled down my arms when I set my palms on my desk. "You guys really need to stay out of trouble. And why can't any of you fly besides the other one hmm?" I saw the one with a silver head chirp at me and the others seemed to be nodding their heads in agreement.

That's strange. Do they understand me? They must! I wonder how smart they actually are.

Deciding I should study for the math quiz I had tomorrow, I took my math book and notebook out of my book bag along with my pencil case. I remembered what happened during lunch, then dumped all of the contents of my pencil case out onto the desk right next to the crows. They looked at me curiously as I held up a small piece of paper that I definitely did not put there. I brought the paper closer to my face and was surprised to find a phone number and a "text me" on it.

Woah.
