The sound of someone's alarm rang through the room, waking the girl up who is still curling with a blanket on her bed.

Trying to search for her phone, she managed to turn off the alarm while squinting her eyes. She heave a sigh and close her eyes.

She still can't believe that the school holidays are over. She wanted it to be long. Time sure does fly fast huh? As she was about to get back into her dreamland, someone barge into the room.

"Wakey wakey Hyunmi! We have school today!"

It's no other than her step brother Woong shouting in the morning with an excitement voice. She scrunch up her face, opening her eyes to see him already dressed.

"Why are you so excited about in the morning? And it's freaking Monday!"she sat up straight, running her fingers through her hair.

"Going to school together with you is what makes me excited. I don't know why"he replied smiling brightly as ever.

"Now get out. I wanna shower"she groaned, scratching her head after throwing a pillow to him.

After she showers, she wore her school uniform and look at herself from the mirror. She noticed that her hair was a bit long than before.

I think I should cut it

She decided to cut it later after school as she went down the stairs and wear her shoes. There was no sign of Woong in the living room until something caught her attention.

There was a sticky note on the table with a sandwich beside it. She grab the note and read it. It was from him. He told her that he can't wait for her due to an emergency about his club.

Says who the one excited to go to school together?

She put back the note and grab the sandwich as she left the house. She went along the sidewalk where it leads to the school but she stop her track when she saw a cat.

She approaches the cat as she crouched down, looking at it and pat its head. Purring sound can be heard from the cat, she took the chance to lift the cat up.

Out of the sudden, the cat scratches her face randomly making her to release the cat as it ran away into the alleyway.

"Ah shit"she cursed under her breath.

Few marks were visible on both of her cheeks and it started to bleed a little. She cry inside due to how painful it is. She saw a hand with a bandage in the grasp right in front of her eyes.

She move her eyes from the hand to the owner's face. Her eyes lit up almost immediately revealing it's Jihoon.

"Let's go the infirmary first to treat those scars"he said, turning around leading the way.

"W-Wait"she spoke, standing up and jog after him."We don't have to. It doesn't hurt that much plus aren't you going to put that bandage for me?"

The teasing in her voice makes him to blush a bit before turning to face her.

"Well yeah after I clean those scars for you"he answered, puffing out his cheeks.

"Then let's run to school! We don't have much time left tho"

She poked out her tongue to him as she began to run away to the school as fast as she could.

"Aish this girl really"

He facepalmed but a smile played on his lips and started to chase her until they both reached the school.

She wanted to go the classroom before he catches her but to her bad luck, he drag her to the infirmary by holding her wrist.
