"But, I'll still be in it.." Mi shrugs, finally making eye contact with Jungkook.

"You've never taken pictures with friends?"

"Jungkook, I never really had friends. And I'm not exactly a fan of my face either..." Mi huffed, visibly becoming upset. "I don't wanna get into it right now-"

"Mi-sun." He reached out for her other hand. "I'm here to listen. I'll always be here. I'm your friend, and you can't get rid of me so easily." Jungkook acted so caring, Mi thought it was nice to finally experience friendship.

"Thanks kook.."

"Now let's start with the first step in bonding, selfies." He lifted his phone up once again, "now you don't need to be worried, these are only for us. No one else will see them, just us. Okay?"

Mi nodded and looked up. A smile appeared and they both looked towards the phone. It was slightly awkward, until the boy started pulling silly faces and sticking out his tongue. Mi followed his example, and also puffed out her cheeks and lifted her eyebrows.

"See, look how great they look!" The boy grinned proudly at the pictures and then turned to the giggling girl. "Don't worry, there'll be a lot more later one. But for now, what's next?"

"Well after face masks," she reached out and peeled Jungkooks off before doing her own, "it was games!"

She smiled hopefully, but Jungkook didn't share the same reaction. His eyes where still staring at his phone. Mi didn't say anything, but she could see he had got a text from someone. Before she could get a closer peak, Jungkook locked his phone and quickly shoved it in his pocket. His face had become a ghostly white.

"If-if you don't wanna play game, should we watch a movie?" The older just nodded with out word, so Mi got up silently and made her way to her crappy little TV. She had spent so much money buying gaming equipment and screens that the rest of her apartment looked homeless. But the tv still worked, and the girl pulled out a giant box of movies she had been collecting over the years.

They ranged from romcoms to super hero to horror movies; not that she could watch scary films. No, she only had them for when her 'lovely' neighbours had a fight and one of them announced they were sleeping in Mi's apartment for the night. It happened about once a month, so it was easy to buy the films that keep paying to stream them each time for them to watch.

But what would Jungkook like... probably not a romance, Mi could hardly watch when people kissed on tv so a film like that would just make things awkward. A comedy might be good... but Jungkook didn't seem like the guy to like the comedy Mi did.

You see, Mi-sun was a smart student but she left college and got a job at a local coffee shop. The rest of her time was spent winning bets in her gaming life and earning money like that, but she also had a talent for language learning. It started as a command from her parents, but after they were out of the picture, she learnt to love it and became basically fluent in English. So when it came to comedies, she would watch English stand up or funny films as she found them more intelligent.

Not that korean comedies weren't, but there's only so many times you can rewatch Men On A Mission before it gets stale. But Jungkook didn't exactly seem like he had time to learn English, so maybe a comedy was a bad choice. She slouched down and look back to the boy sat coldly on her bed. For god sake it was a film...

But then her eyes caught the red and gold socks pocking out of Jungkooks timberlands and the famous face that came with it.

(A/n: come on guys, you gotta guess! Who's on his socks??? Hint- he wore them in one of the American hustle life episodes 👀 )

She knew. Her hands boldly reach out and grabbed the disk, shoving into the DVD player and turning it on. Ecstatically, she ran back and sat next to him. His eyes lifted slowly to the screen as the adverts ran.

"What are we watching?" Even his voice had gone cold.

"Hmm, you'll see." Was all Mi could get out. She was too exited, she had found a loophole and want to exploit the shut out of it.

Jungkooks eyes locked onto the screen and Mi's eyes locked onto Jungkooks. She wanted to see his reaction, she wanted to make him happy.

The last credit rolled, and the title screen came up,

His eyes widened and he breathed in sharply. "I love this film!" Was all he could muster. He launched his body onto the girls and enveloped her in a tight hug. "It's my favourite movie of all time!"

"I love marvel movies too!" Mi smiled back happily, "one day we will have to watch them all together!"

Jungkook face beamed back, already returning to his normal self. "One day, hopefully soon." He let go from the hug and grabbed a blanket, placing it over them both. "Thanks kiddo."

"Ahh shut up, you lame boy. Just watch the film" her hands clapped excitedly, "the start is so pretty to watch!" She mumbled as the film started and planned over the California scenery.

"Yeah your right," Jungkooks eyes where still glued to the girls face, immersed in her reactions,

"Very pretty."
