Monday morning finally came around and Mi was still lying in bed. It had been two days since the whole incident and she hadn't moved since. No food, no toilet, just bed. It was as if she was in a state of denial and shock like had just die. Oh right, someone had: Sun-mi.

Her phone had been ringing nonstop since yesterday, but she could gather the strength to get up and answer it. It was on the floor in the kitchen, but getting up would mean this wasn't all a dream. That this nightmare was real life.

Just as the ringer paused, a loud knock echoed from her door. "Hello? Mi-sun?" It was Jungkook, clearly. But she still didn't get up, she lay while staring at the ceiling in hope he would go away and let her stay there.

"Mi? Are you okay?" She heard his hands wobbling the door knob and then she remembered no one had locked her door, and it opened swiftly. "What? It was open?" He ran into the bathroom, before going to the kitchen and finally her bedroom.

When he saw her staring back at him from her bed, he laughed slightly with a sigh of relief. "Your door was unlocked..." Jungkook stared at her sorry state and saw she was in the same clothes she had been back then. "Mi-sun?"

"Do you hate me?" It blurred out fast, and more energetic than Mi thought she could be at this moment but her thoughts were driving her insane. She needed to know where they stood.

"I don't. I couldn't." He sat slowly at the end of the messy bed. "But, I wanted to."

The girl nodded along, understanding why he would want to. She didn't tell him when she should have, and because of that she hurt him and herself. "I get it.."

He reached out softly for her hand, "are you ready to talk now?" Mi-sun nodded solemnly. "Right now, I really am hurt. But to be honest... I think I always knew it was you."

Mi jolted up abruptly. "You did?!"

"Yeah... you had the same eyes and talked the same. I always compared you both in my head, and you even played games the same. When you gave me that speech about not giving up- I saw you." He chuckled at her stupidity. "It was clear you were pretending to be bad at gaming."

She laughed slightly too. "I really am sor- sorry Jungkook. It started when I was too nervous to meet you. I didn't expect you there- there at my Job interview. I just-" And the water works started to flow. "I didn't want you to not like me."

She said it. She never normal cared what others thought, but this was the whole reason she lied. Because she cared about what he thought. "Mi, you know what ever you look like won't change how I feel. We got on so well, we clicked-"

His voice dropped. "I really liked you."

"Jungkook, the reason I did this is because I liked you. You are such a great friend. But as soon as we got closer, I couldn't figure out how to tell you and I needed the job for money. It all happened so fast-"

"Mi." He turned her face towards him. "I said I really liked you."

"Yea, I know. And I broke your trust and-"

"Ahh, silly girl. I think your cute."

"Well, your cute too. But I just think-"

The conversation was going nowhere and Jungkook could see that. He looked at Mi who sat there, still begging for some form forgiveness or just anything with teary eyes. Most girls didn't look so genuine when they cried, but the fact Mi didn't expect him to forgive her actions and knew what she had done wrong made him feel safe.

But he couldn't just say it was okay, because it wasn't. "Here's the deal. I'll forgive you, because I understand you were nervous and things got too far. Everyone makes mistakes."

If you were there, you would have seen the happiest smile in history. She went from a sobbing mess to a contagious grin that pull tightly at both her red cheeks.

"But," and that's when it all came crashing down again, "we can't be friends like we used too."

"What... what do you mean?"

"I don't think I full know who you are. We need to start over again." He was stern, and wanted to make sure he didn't betray himself by being too nice. She was the one in the wrong here, no matter how much he liked her he needed to check if she really did like him back.

"As new friends?"

"As strangers." It hit her like the moving train in the Spring Day music video Mi had watched a few weeks back. Cold, fast and unforgiving.

"I see..." she wasn't giving up yet though! Jungkook was willing to forgive her so she also had to fight to keep him. "Hello, I'm Mi-sun. I want to be a professional gamer at your company and your friend."

He briefly smiled, before standing up and wandering to the door. "I am Jeon Jungkook, you will have an interview in the next few weeks about your position."

"To be your friend?"

He looked at the menacing girl slyly, "to get a job. Now, seeing as I'm your boss I shouldn't be in your house. Ill see you soon."

Mi walked him to the door. "Thank you Jungko- sir. Really, I'm so greatful." She couldn't help smiling to herself. "I'll be sure to make you mine soon."

"What was that last part?" He wedged his foot through the door.

"Nothing," she kicked him back playfully. "I promise to make this up to you and prove myself again. I will!"

"I'll be looking forward to it." And he was gone with the wind before Mi could even  talk back.

This time she locked her door and instead of hiding in her bed, went to the kitchen for sustenance. She felt surprisingly glad, seeing as they were no longer 'friends'. But that won't stop her, she'll bake for him and tell him jokes and do anything to get close to him again.

After all, Jungkook was the best thing that happened to her. She can't let that coconuts roll away so easily.
