Liberty

Liberty?
Yes, liberty.
Where are thou?
I need you now.

I've been jailed.
I can't get out of here.
My strength is not enough
to destroy these barriers.

I am the victim
yet also the suspect.
Tell me that it's a lie
for you conquered me.

I lost my freedom.
No! You removed it.
You came unexpectedly
and enslaved me.

I shouted loudly
so that someone could hear me
and there, He came.
I'm finally free!

Yes! I am free.
I now have my liberty.
I'm not enslaved anymore
by my conquering thoughts.
