We exited the store. I had my book in my bag. I didn't feel the need to read at the moment. I would rather keep my eyes on Pat-- my friends instead of keeping my eyes on my book. But Patton looks so happy right now. He had a literal skip in his step.

"Why are you so happy, Pat?" Roman asked, earning a glare. I didn't mean to do that. It just happened. "Ton. Patton." Roman and Anxiety were standing apart for some reason. Roman was standing in the front and Anxiety was walking in the back, playing on his phone like usual.

"Oh, I got something that makes me happy!" Patton said, nudging me lightly with his elbow. I'm glad that I helped him be happy.

"Oh, you have Logan?" Anxiety teased. Everyone laughed, although I don't understand why that is humorous. Roman looked to his side, with his hand in a position that looked like he was trying to "high five" someone. He clearly isn't used to being apart from Anxiety, which is strange. But to be fair, he and Anxiety hasn't separated since this morning. Patton giggled... Hmm.

"I do have Logan!" Patton exclaimed, making everyone be quiet. "But I also have some clothes that I got. They also make me happy." He said.

Before the dance, I walked down to Patton's dorm room. I had changed slightly into a black long sleeved button-up with a different tie. I had the cat hoodie with me. I knocked on the door, resulting in Patton opening the door. He was wearing the same thing as before.

"Oh, hey Lo! I like your shirt!" He exclaimed.

"Thanks, Patton. I brought you something." I said. There were hints of nerve in my voice, which is strange, because I am never nervous. It's possible that I'm anxious about giving him such a gift despite prior evidence saying that he will thoroughly enjoy it. I handed him the hoodie, my hands slightly shaking. "I hope it suffices." I said. His eyes figuratively filled with stars.

"Logan..." He said excitedly.

"Yes, Patton?"

"Is this... A cat hoodie!" He asked. He looks so happy. It's amazing. I caused that.

"Yes." I said as he started putting the hoodie on. "It even has a pocket where you can place an actual cat, if you so choose." He pulled the torso of the hoodie over his stomach.

"Oh, I can't, Lo, I'm allergic!" Uh, wait, but, cat onesie, toys replicating cats, cat ears.

"Then why... the cat onesie?" I asked, but it came out a lot like a yell. Patton put his thumbs through the holes of the sleeves.

"I like cats." He said, holding his hands out to show the sleeves.

Cute. Cute. Cute. Cute. Cute.

That was weird, what I just said.

"This is so precious." I mumbled. Patton hugged me tight. Warm. Adorable. Precious. I never ever want him to be hurt. Ever. He's doesn't deserve it.

"Thank you so much, Lo. I love it so much." He said, still hugging me tight. He pulled away, very jittery, presumably from happiness. "Do you want to come inside?" Patton asked, allowing me to walk inside. "Anxiety is sad. He's been laying there for an hour."

"What's wrong, Anxiety?" I asked.

"Nothing!" He said defensively.

"I think he misses Roman." Patton whispered. I somehow understand that feeling. Often I miss Patton. I'm not sure why. "Oh! You could invite him down here! I'm sure if you just said that Anxiety's sad, he'd be down here in a second!" Patton whispered. That's actually not a bad idea.

"I don't have his phone number." Patton pulled out his phone, presumably texting Roman. The door shot open. We must have not shut it properly.

"Who's made you sad!" Roman yelled before climbing up to Anxiety's bunk. Anxiety sat up, smiling at Roman.

"Dude, what the hell are you doing?" He asked through laughter.

"Patton said you were sad! I refuse to let that happen!"

"Awe..." Patton said quietly.

"Thank Roman. And I guess I just felt like something was missing. I don't... feel like that anymore. Weird." He said. I understand that feeling too.

"Yay! We did it!" Patton whispered. "They're happy now!" He said. You're adorable. There's a glitch in my system and it's making me feel things. Patton, you're a virus.

"I should go."

"Why?" Patton asked, with this adorable, pouty face. I feel malnourished. Why else would I feel so weak.

"I just don't feel like I should be here. I'm going to go." I said. Patton had a sad look on his face.

Feeling: Guilt. Reason: Unknown.

"You don't have to go. I like having you here. But if you want to go, I won't stop you!" He said, a big smile on his face. There was pain in his eyes. He's fidgeting with the sleeves of the hoodie I gayve him.

What? Gave. I don't know what happened there.

"Patton, are you alright?"

"Oh, I'm fine. I just wanted to hand out with you, that's all." He said, kind of quietly. I pulled the cards from my pocket. I'm sure I've heard that phrase before, I'm just not sure what it means. Ah, here we are.

Hang out:
To a lot of in a or with someone.

"Ah. I see. That would be..." Amazing! I mean, no... "Adequate." He smiled.

Virus detected.
