I had my first hug today. With Patton I never want to not hug Patton. It's figuratively like being in a warm ray of sunlight while being engulfed in a safe, fluffy and warm, puff ball. It feels so safe. I followed Patton to the isle he chose. He looked at a something across the isle. He took a pair of khakis.
"I'm gonna go see if these fit, okay?" He asked. I nodded before he left to the dressing room. I looked across the isle to where he was looking. It was like if suspenders and a skirt were crossed. It had cat paw prints on it. I walked over and took it off the rack then walked back over, where Patton was holding the pair of khakis he walked into the dressing room with. His eyes widened and blushed when he saw the suspender-skirt thing. He doesn't... no, right?
"Oh, you saw me looking at that?" He asked nervously. I nodded.
"You don't have to try it if you don't want to." I said. He smiled and took it happily.
"N-No! I want to try it! I just didn't know if you'd judge me or not." He said, nervously. Do I make Patton nervous? Why would I make him nervous? I don't believe that I'm threatening in any way.
"I would never judge you for something you want to do." I said. "Or ever judge you in general. You always seem to mean well and kind." I explained. He smiled, clutching the outfit happily.
"Thank you Lo. I'll be back in a minute!" He said before walking into the dressing room again. I patiently waited outside the dressing room until he returned. Something caught my eye as he did. I'll look at it later. When he returned.. It was figuratively impossible for me to look away.
It's just... he's so... beautiful, for lack of a better word. I don't know what it is, it just seems to suit him so well. I scanned him up and down, up and down, up and down, up. He had a nervous look on his face.
"So... how do I look?" He asked nervously. I opened my mouth, trying to speak. "Lo?" He asked. He looked back, clutching at the edges of his skirt. "Is it really that bad?" He asked.
"No!" What the hell... I didn't mean to say that. It just came out. "I mean, you look, amazing." I said more calmly. He giggled... figuratively music to my ears.
"R-Really?" He asked, with stars in his eyes.
"Yeah!" I said. I cleared my throat. "I mean, it suits you very well."
"I don't know if I can wear it there though. I might as well not buy it." He said, clearly not in his usual high spirits.
"Patton. If this outfit makes you happy, you should purchase it." I told him, looking at him in his... beautiful eyes. He smiled. Also beautiful.
"Thanks Lo! I will! But I think I might just wear my usual clothes, like you do. So we should go." Patton said. I think about what caught my eye earlier.
"You should go meet with Mr. Sanders. I want to do something, alright?" He nodded before going into the dressing room.
Right he needs to change back into his usual clothes. He left with the two items he picked out and I walked to the rack that had caught my eye.
What I had thought. A cat hoodie. Patton would love it. I took it off the rack, in the size that I had taken note of him buying. On my way out of the isles, I saw the unicorn onesie again. Would it really be so illogical to purchase something that would bring me comfort and could possibly help me sleep better?
I'm buying it.
I hid both items in the bag and returned to Patton. He noticed my bag almost immediately.
"Oh, I thought that you weren't getting anything." He said.
"I changed my mind." I muttered.
