Laying in the blazing hot sun was Pudgy, a gray pitbull. It was a beautiful day out. Little did Pudgy know that his peace would soon be interrupted by a nervous man in grey shorts carrying mail.
It was a typical day for Bill the mail carrier. He usually felt a little uncomfortable as Pudgy would frown at him and sometimes even bark. Pudgy's owner, Sal, was only 8 years old and stopped paying attention to him when Bill showed up and brought Sal a packaged video game which he had been waiting for. Sal celebrated by snatching the box open, throwing the paper in the yard, and running into the house to play his new game.
Bill looked at Pudgy then walked swiftly out of the gate. Pudgy barked at the carrier, as if he were telling him to move faster, then trudged to the gate to make sure he was gone. Pudgy went to tap the gate but noticed it was accidentally left open by the nervous mail carrier. Since the fence was always kept closed, Pudgy decided it would be a good time to leave the yard and explore the neighborhood.
That's where she comes in. The AMaZiNg GrAyCE rides in on her skateboard and picks up Pudgy, who looks surprised yet too shocked to do anything. She zigs and zags on her skateboard until they're back in the yard, where she sits Pudgy down. In his anger, he starts to bark.
Regardless of that, GrAyCE skates out the gate and closes it completely behind her. Pudgy's barks get louder as he hopes to teach her a lesson. Even still, she knows that what she did was right. GrAyCE gets sad at the thought of all the pets that run off and are never returned. Sorry Pudgy. They don't call her The AMaZiNg GrACyE for nothing!
