Twice pt. 2 (AU)

If the following scenarios are extremely unrealistic, please let me know. I apologize if this is bad or doesn't make sense. I recommend reading part 1 of this and/or Vorrentis's coach story. He's a phenomenal author, so give him a follow.

(Amount is something that won't be a factor in decision. Just a heads-up. Remember, these are all for one-year with the option to extend, so keep that in mind.)

"GIRLS! They arrived!"

The nine members of Twice rushed downstairs to see a couple packets laid out in groups of nine.

"Wait, Jihyo...are these our contract offers?"

"Yep. Choose carefully. The roster's in there as well, so I hope y'all did your research."

Yep, that's right. Twice was about to accept professional contracts to become NBA players.

"Who's choosing who?" Tzuyu asked.

"That's for us to decide...I'm just not sure if I'm ready to let go of you guys." Jihyo replied.

"Jihyo, it's gonna be ok. We'll be in the same country and we can still hangout over the offseason." Sana said.

"I guess...I just want the best for all of you." Jihyo returned.

"So do we, but that's how life is Ji. This is going to really test our adaptation skills, so I'm honestly looking forward to it," Chaeyoung chimed in.

"Alright...how are we doing this? Group discussion or individual choice?"

It was time for business.

Nayeon proposed, "Individual choice. This is for our careers and I feel like the presence of each other might sway our choice. We should decide what's best for ourselves and what's the best decision for us individually."

"I second that."

"As do I".

"I'm with it."

All nine members seemed to agree on this. After it was decided that age would determine the order, the nine members began the first step towards a becoming NBA players.

As the eight other members left Nayeon to choose, Jihyo added one last thing.

"We cannot tell each other anything. Nothing about what teams have made an offer and what team you choose. Absolutely nothing until the season starts or once we settle in to our respective new homes. I don't want any fights to break out over the possibility of a team being chosen that isn't the same as yours. Capisce?"

Immediately the other members of Twice nod.

"I will have one last thing to discuss with you guys afterwards though, make sure to return as a group after we're done."

Again, her fellow roommates nod in agreement.

Let the NBA draft for Twice begin. (Kind of.)

"Let's see, who do I have here? Pelicans, Wizards, and Bucks?! Don't they have Middleton already?"

Indeed, in front of her, were three contract offers from the Pelicans, Wizards, and Bucks.

Both the same length and amount.

"Bucks is a no-go, because I feel like I won't thrive in the system they play. Wizards, hmm... I wouldn't mind playing with Wall and Beal. But I feel like that's all they have. Plus, Wall's injury-prone. Man, he'd be so good if it weren't for injuries...New Orleans it is. They have a relatively young team, but it's full of potential. I think I can compete with Josh Hart for a spot as well. Where do I sign?"
