"It's now been two days since The Clover Grand Plaza was the victim of a dispute between two parties gone horribly wrong."
"Uhhhh," Athena groaned in annoyance, "LANCE! TURN OFF THE T.V. I HAVE A HEADACHE!"
"While some are referring to the event as an unfortunate coincidence. Others-some of whom were inside of the mall at the time-are referring to the event as a gang related affair gone awry."
"LANCE!" Athena screamed before burying her head into the silky pillow.
"Wait...pillow?" Athena's thoughts questioned before her eyes shot open at the realization and sprung forward- quickly took in the unfamiliar bedroom.
"Those that we were able to interview, all described the scene as followed," the reporter on the television spoke, effectively catching Athenas attention, "two large groups of men approached each other and an argument ensued. The argument between both parties quickly escalated into a physical altercation until a member of one of the two parties pulled out a gun and began to fire several shots into the crowd...killing six people in the process. Forty-three year old Jean Yvette Gray. Sixteen year old Thomas Alexander Knight. Twenty-two year old Kyson Allan Young. Seventy-one Kennedy Gregory Onassis. Thirty-four year old Caroline Josephine Brooks. And finally twenty-seven year old Athena Rosalee Wilkerson."
"Wha-What the hell?" Athena said in confusion, "I'm not dead."
"Officials have not released a statement to either confirm or deny these accusations but-" The news reporter said before stopping mid sentence just as the tv turned black and static engulfed the screen.
Squinting her eyes, Athena stared at the tv with a puzzling expression before turning her attention back to her unfamiliar surroundings.
The room she found herself in was white: white walls, white carpet, white sheets, white everything. The only thing that wasn't white-and stood out against the otherwise plain room-was the black flat screen tv that hung proudly against the wall.
"It's now been two days since The Clover Grand Plaza was the victim of a dispute between two parties gone horribly wrong." The television suddenly said-coming alive-causing Athena to jump and let out a small shriek.
"While some are referring to the event as an unfortunate coincidence. Others-some of whom were inside of the mall at the time-are referring to the event as a gang related affair gone awry."
"What the hell?" Athena said aloud as she slowly stood from the bed and walked towards the t.v., "I-I- I just saw this."
