QUICK A/N: I am so sorry for the long wait. When I tell you guys I rewrote this chapter 6 times...I am not joking. Six frick fracking times and I hated every single one of them. I wanted to delete this chapter too but out of all of the ones I wrote I hated this version the least.

I hope this extra long chapter makes up for my absence. I don't know what is wrong with me. But I'm trying to be better. I'm already writing the next two chapters and I'm liking how they are turning out so far. So maybe I'll update this story sooner rather than later. But anyway...let the reading commence...ENJOY!!!

"Who are you talking too babydoll?" Alexander whispered into Athena's ear causing her to jump and let out a small squeak.

Flipping the switch on the garbage disposal, Athena spun around on her heels to face Alexander-nearly brushing her nose against his own.

"NO ONE!"

"I can see that." He chuckled tilting his head to the side so that he had a clear view of the kitchen's sink,"...What are you doing?"

"NOTHING-um!what do you want?" Athena said in one breath, stepping to the side putting a good distant between her and Alexander.

"Doesn't look like nothing."

"Look here asshole! What I do-" Athena began to shout before she was cut off by a finger being placed over her lips.

"I didn't come in here to fight with you babydoll," Alexander said sincerely, "I came to check up on you. You've been in here for over an hour. The food got here a while ago, and is starting to get cold. I mean we would have eaten already, but we wanted to wait for you...so we could all eat together. And uh-you know," Alexander muttered scratching the back of his head nervously, "I wanted to make sure that you were okay, and...you know...alive."

"Well," Athena muttered gesturing towards her body, "-as you can see...I am alive."

Slowly roaming his eyes up and down her frame. Alexander inspected every inch of Athena's body looking for any cuts, bruises, or specs of blood that was not there earlier.

"Good." He said with a satisfied smile once he was confident enough in his inspection.

Feeling a bit exposed, Athena crossed her arms over her chest before slowly walking backwards to the kitchens entrance,"...So-um-yeah...I'm alive. Can we eat now-oorrr." She said a bit awkwardly.

But before Athena could take another step out of the kitchen a strong calloused hand wrapped around her wrist stopping her from any further movements.

"Wait," Alexander said pulling Athena back into the kitchen, "Look babydoll, I know your first impression of me wasn't a good one-"

"-you can say that again." Athena grumbled under her breath.

"-BUT," he said a bit annoyed, "...I figured since we're going to be spending a lot of time together. We should start over." Alexander stated before clearing his throat and stretching out his hand," Alexander Roemeer, man of your dreams...only gayer." He finished with an ear-splitting grin.

Rolling her eyes, Athena begrudgingly placed her hand into his, "Athena Wilker-Kalman. Athena Kalman."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Kalman," Alexander said giving Athena's hand a firm squeeze, "Now, I hope you're in the mood for some room temperature pizza, and a handful of awkward introductions."

"Uhhh-I actually"

"-Great! Don't worry, you'll be fine. I promise I-" Alexander began to speak just as every light in the house shut off, engulfing everyone in complete and utterdarkness.
