Part 12.

Shravan's POV

I drove to Malhotra mansion. I don't have any idea about what is going to happen, how are they going to react? With this question is entered in the mansion.

"Ji papa?" I stood in front of him, getting ready to hear what he is going to say.

"Jo Pushkar keh raha hai kya woh sach hai?" He asked.

"Ji!" I replied, anger clearly visible in his eyes.

"Shravan, Maine mana nahi kiya tha shaadi ke liye, toh phir?" Papa asked.

"Aap samaj nahi rahe hai papa, Sumo ki jaan ko khatra hai, isliye usse safe rakhne ke liye maine..." I was cutted in between.

"Maine kya Shravan? Bacchi nahi hai Suman, bachpan se khud ko sambhalti aayi hai woh, jab tum nahi the tab bhi! Toh achanak se shaadi kyu??" He screamed.

"Wahi toh baat hai papa, khud ko aur apne parivar ko sambhalti hui toh aayi hai bachpan se, promise kiya tha maine usse ki kabhi kuch nahi hone duga, agar iss baar kuch ho jaata toh pata nahi kya hota!" I said, trying to make him understand.

"Mujhe nahi pata tum kya kehna chahte ho, lekin mai tumhe iss chiz ke liye maaf nahi karuga!" Papa said. Before I could say something he went to his room.

"Shravan puttar ab jo ho gaya so gaya, ab jaake apni biwi ko lekar aaja jaldi se!" Chachi said.

"Ji chachi! Pushkar Preeti tum dono bhi chalo" I said, they nodded and we left the mansion in my car.

Suman's POV

I was done packing my stuff when nanu called me, I went to his room and sat in front of his room.

"Khud ka dhyaan rakhna, mujhe lagta hai ki Shravan ne tujhe sab kuch bata diya hoga!" Nanu said.

"Ji!" I said.

"Itna kuch ho gaya tere saath aur tune mujhe bataya bhi nahi!" He said.

"Shaadi ka ghar tha nanu, kisi ko pareshan nahi karna chahti thi!" I said.

"Ek baar bata kar toh dekhti!" He said.

"Sorry, galti ho gayi!" I said looking down.

"Koi baat nahi, bas apna dhyaan rakh ab!" He said patting my head and I smiled. We talked for sometime and then I went back in my room.

No one was at home except me, nanu and daboo. Shravan texted me that they are on their way and will reach in sometime.

I entered in my room to take a last look, I heard someone closing the door. I turned around and saw Aditya standing there.

"Aditya tum!" I was shocked.

"Hey beautiful, how are you?" He started coming closer to me and I started moving back.

"Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho? Aur tum andar kaha se aaye?" Fear hovering over me.

"Tum se uss din ke thappad ka badla lene aaya hu, aur rahi baat andar aane ki toh tumhare khidki se aaya hu" he said.

I kept moving back until I hit the wall. He caged me between his arms. I pushed him and he went back a little.

I ran to open the door but before I could open he pulled me back and pushed me on the bed. He came over me and started kissing me on my neck.

"Shravan!! Shravan!!" I screamed trying to push him.

"Tera Shravan tujhe bachane nahi aayega!" He said and threw away my scarf and tore my kurta a bit from stomach area.

"Shravan!! Bachao mujhe koi!!" I was crying and screamed again. I heard the door opening and there I saw my savior, Shravan.

Shravan's POV

We almost reached Tiwari Killa when Preeti's phone started ringing flashing the landline number of Tiwari Killa.

"Hello?" Preeti answered the call and kept it on speaker.

"Preeti didi, kaha ho aap log? Please jaldi aa jao!" Daboo said from the other side sounding tensed.

"Daboo, kya hua tujhe? Hum bas pohoch gaye hai!" Preeti said.

"Didi please jitni jaldi ho sakta hai aa jao, pata nahi Suman didi Shravan jiju ka naam chilla rahi hai aur aisa lag raha hai woh ro rahi hai" Daboo said, his voice shivering.

"Daboo tumne andar room mein jaa ke check kiya?" I asked taking the phone from Preeti.

"Jaane ka try kiya tha lekin room locked tha!" He said.

"Daboo don't worry hum aa rahe hai!" I said and disconnected the call and drove faster.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! Mujhe usse akela chhodna hi nahi chahiye tha!" I said tightening my grip on the steering wheel.

"Bhaiya abhi guilty feel karne ka time nahi hai, hume waha jaldi pohoch na hai" Pushkar said. Within a minute we all were inside the Tiwari Killa.

I ran towards Sumo's room. I heard shrill cries and her calling my name. I didn't wait even for a minute and broke the door.

And there I saw Aditya over Sumo. Sumo being a crying mess. I pulled Aditya back from her and punched him on his face.

Preeti rushed to Sumo and hugged her tightly. Pushkar kept Daboo away from this mess and called the police, by that time everyone was home.

"Himmat kaise hui meri Sumo ko choone ki!" I kept punching him. Everyone kept stopping me but I didn't left him.

"Shravan ruk jao!" Nanu screamed and I stopped. The police came and arrested him and took him away.

"Shravan!" I heard Sumo, her voice shivering. I quickly ran to her and stood in front of her.

She was sitting on the couch in living room and crying bitterly, she then hugged me from my waist and cried harder.

"Sumo, shaant ho jao! Ab kuch nahi hoga" I said stroking her hair. Tears were threatening to fall from my eyes.

She cried harder and harder. After 5 mins her cries died down and her grip on me loosen, I looked down at her and saw that she fainted.

"Sumo?" I patted her cheeks, but she didnt open her eyes. I picked her up in my arms and took her in her room.

I laid her down and covered her with the blanket and sat beside her holding her hand.

"Bhaiya mai ghar call kar ke aata hu!" Pushkar said and left the room.

"Shravan aap bahar jaao mai di ke kapde change kar deti hu!" Preeti said. I nodded my head and left the room.

I saw nana ji sitting on the couch, looking defeated. I sat in front of him on my knees and kept my head on his lap.

I felt his hands on my head, that was my breaking point. I cried, harder and harder. I tried to conpose my self but failed.

"Shravan bas beta, chup ho ja!" Nana ji said.

"Maine apna vaada tod diya!" I cried.

"Tumne koi vaada nahi toda hai, balki aaj tumne Suman ki jaan bacha kar mujh par kitna bada ehsaan..." I cutted him.

"Maine kisi par koi ehsaan nahi kiya hai, maine bas apni jaan bachayi hai! Jaan hai meri Sumo, agar aaj kuch ho jaata toh mai.." I couldn't complete as just a thought passed that what would have happened if I wouldn't have reached here on time?

"Shravan ab aap andar jaa sakte ho!" Preeti said as she came out of the room.

I nodded and went inside the room and sat beside her, holding her hands in mine.

"I am sorry Sumo! I am sorry!" I said and tears flowed down through my eyes.
