Part 14.

Shravan's POV

I was the first one who woke up early. It was already half past eight.

I looked at Sumo who was still sleeping hugging me. I always wanted to see her face first thing every morning.

And now when that wish is fulfilled, I don't want to see her face like this. I always wanted to see peacefully sleeping Sumo, but right now I can clearly see that she is stressed, she is scared.

I can clearly see tear marks on her face. Last night almost passed by her crying and me consoling, but there were some times where even I didn't sounded convincing.

I slipped out from her grip and carefully placed a pillow in place of me. I went to washroom and got ready in half an hour.

I came out of the washroom and saw Sumo sitting on the bed and resting her head on the head rest and looking up on the ceiling.

Her eyes were blank, those eyes which used to shine even in the saddest time now they are blank, just blank.

"Sumo" I moved towards her. Her riverie broke and she looked at me.

"Hmm?" She replied.

"Are you okay?" I asked sitting beside her.

"I guess!" She said looking down. I so wanted to take her all the pain away but at the same time I was helpless.

"Sumo, go get fresh and come down for breakfast. I am going down!" I said. She nodded and I went down to have breakfast.

"Good morning!" I said taking place on my seat. No one spoke anything.

"Shravan!" Papa called me.

"Hmm?" I hummed in reply.

"You need to go to Chandigarh for Mr. Singhania's case!" Papa said.

Is he serious?

Like it's not even 24 hours since that incident happened and he is asking me to go to Chandigarh leaving Sumo alone!!

"Papa I am not going anywhere!" I said with a straight face.

"Shravan but..." He tried to speak but I cutted him.

"Papa please! Sumo needs me right now, I cannot leave her alone" I said.

"Excuse me everyone" I got up from my seat as I got an important call and went out in the garden to talk.

Ramnath's POV

Today for the first time Shravan refused to listen to me just because of that girl.

How should I tell Shravan that Suman is not good for him.

Suman is just like Nirmala, she will also leave Shravan. I don't want my son to suffer. I have to do something else.

Shravan's POV

I was on call from past 1 hour. When I disconnected the call I saw Pushkar running towards me.

"Chhote tu bhaag kyu raha hai?" I asked keeping my phone inside my pocket.

"Bhaiya pehle aap yeh batao ki Sumo abhi tak so rahi hai?" Pushkar asked.

"Nahi, woh uth gayi thi!" I said.

"Woh abhi tak neeche breakfast ke liye nahi aayi!" Pushkar said.

"What!!" I said and ran inside the house. I quickly took the stairs and went in my room.

"Sumo! Sumo!" She was not in the room. I was searching for her when I heard something from washroom, the shower was on.

"Sumo?" I knocked on the door. She didnt reply.

"Sumo?" I knocked again. And again she didn't reply.

"Sumo please reply or else I am coming in!" I said, I was getting tensed as she didn't reply this time also.

"Sumo I am coming in!" I said and turned the knob of the washroom and to my surprise the door was not locked.

I slowly opened the door and saw Sumo sitting inside the shower with clothes still on and staring at the wall.

"Sumo" I called her but she didn't reply me. I went towards her and switched off the shower.

She didn't realize when I came inside and switched off the shower. I sat in front of her and cupped her cheeks.

"Sumo!" I whispered. She then looked in my eyes, I have never seen her eyes this blank ever.

Tears started to form in her eyes and soon she started crying bitterly. I hugged her tightly and rubbed her back.

I picked her up in my arms and got out of the washroom. I made her sit on the couch and covered her with a towel.

I dried her hair with the towel and wiped her hands and face with the towel. She was still crying and my heart was piercing looking at her like this.

"Sumo please get changed in other clothes or else you will catch cold" I said and she nodded.

"I am outside the room, call me when you are done changing!" I said and moved out of the room.

Pushkar was in living room, pacing back and forth in tension as I asked him to not to come up.

"Bhaiya Sumo thik hai na?" Pushkar asked climbing the stairs.

"Pata nahi Pushkar!" I said and we both sighed knowing what I meant.

"Pushkar ek plate khaana laa ke de mujhe, Sumo ko khilana hai!" I said and Pushkar went to kitchen to get a plate of food. He soon came and gave it to me.

"Preeti kaisi hai?" I asked knowing that Preeti was also not doing well after knowing about Sumo's state.

"Ek dum chup si ho gayi hai!" Pushkar said.

Both the sisters are same to same. They both were so chirpy and talkative but now both of them are quite.

Pushkar went and I came inside the room. Sumo was sitting on sofa. I came and sat in front of her and made her eat the food from my hands.
