Part 21.

Shravan kept his head on Suman's hand. Everything was broken already, just this lie was holding everything up.

Suman felt tear drops on her hands. She opened her eyes and saw Shravan resting his head on her hand. His body shaking, though she can see that he was trying to control his sobs but he couldn't.

"Uncle tum se bohot pyaar karte hai!" Suman said and Shravan looked up at her.

"Shaayad. Kya pata yeh bhi ek jhoot ho!?" Shravan said wiping his tears.

"Baat toh sahi hai tumhari, mujhe kya hi pata hoga!?" Suman laughed sadly.

"Tum aisa kyu bol rahi ho?" Shravan asked holding her hands.

"Pata nahi, bohot time se maa baap ka pyaar nahi mila mujhe. Ghar mein bhi sab ke liye ek bojh hi thi, except Preeti, mama ji and Nanu" Suman said.

"Sab ke liye bojh nahi ho, mere liye toh bilkul nahi!" Shravan said.

"Please uncle ko maaf kar do aur aunty ko waapis le aao!" Suman said. She wanted him to be happy. She wanted at least he could get the love of his parents.

"Pata nahi Sumo, pata nahi kya karu mai.." Shravan said. He don't know what to do. He don't know whether he could stand his parents anymore or not.

"Bhaiya!!" Pushkar barged in the room, his facial expression was telling that something happened, something major.

"Kya hua Pushkar?" Shravan asked.

"Aap please bahar aayie! Bohot important baat hai" Pushkar said and moved outside the room.

"Mai abhi aaya, tum rest karo!" Shravan said and left the room. When he went outside he saw everyone gathered around.

"Kya baat hai? Sab aise yaha kyu hai?" Shravan asked.

"Police commissioner called" Pushkar said.

"And?" Shravan asked.

"Aditya revealed everything!" Pushkar said.

"What did he say?" Shravan asked desperately. He was ready to beat that person who tried to hurt his Sumo.

"As you already know he was given money to do all this, it was given by none other than..." Pushkar stopped and looked at Ramnath Malhotra.

He was already looking down.

"Pushkar please tell fast!" Shravan said. Pushkar didn't say anything but he kept looking at Ramnath.

Shravan followed his gaze and looked at Ramnath, his father, who was looking down at the floor.

Soon enough Ramnath was pushed to a wall with Shravan holding his throat.

"What did YOU do!!?" Shravan pressurized the word 'you'. Ramnath was already choking.

"Bhaiya, stop!" Pushkar tried to pull Shravan back with the help of Varun. They both pulled back his hand which was choking Ramnath's throat.

"I am sorry...." Ramnath said. He could see his son's blood shot eyes. Shravan was hell angry.

"You are sorry!!? You hired that bastard to..." Shravan stopped in middle as he was already feeling disgusted by his father's deeds.

"Why? Just tell me why did you do this?" Shravan asked not able to handle all the bombs he was receiving today.

"I didn't want you to marry Suman. I thought she is just like Nirmala. So I hired Aditya, I gave him money to kidnap Suman. By the time he could kidnap her or do something with her, you already married her. I thought if Aditya did something with Suman, then you won't marry her as she won't be pure..." Ramnath stopped as he received a hard slap from Preeti.

"How dare you!?" Preeti said holding his collar. Kamini and Vandy tried to pull her back.

"You know what Mr. Malhotra, Preeti did the right thing by slapping you. Agar mai uski jagah hoti toh mai bhi wahi karti." Kamini said looking disgustingly at Ramnath.

"Bhaisaab aap ne yeh accha nahi kiya!" Lala ji said.

"Police is coming in few minutes!" Pushkar said, he was so disgusted by his mother and his bade papa.

"Please take him away Pushkar or else I will kill him!" Shravan said and turned around and left that place.

Varun and Lala ji took Ramnath away till the time police come.

Pushkar, Preeti, Kamini and Vandy sat on the chair outside Suman's room. Shravan went inside and saw tears coming out of Suman's eyes.

"Sumo kya hua!?" Shravan ran towards her.

"Suna mai ne, sab suna!" Suman said in a whisper and Shravan looked down not able to meet his gaze.

"Why me, Shravan?" Suman asked and broke down into loud cries. Shravan couldn't see her crying so he hugged her.

"Shhh Sumo! Nothing happened. I am here, forever!" Shravan said rubbing her back.

"I want to go home!" Suman said after crying.

"We will, just give me 15-20 minutes!" Shravan said and messaged Pushkar to come inside.

"Aap ne bulaya?" Pushkar asked. Shravan and Suman can see his eyes was red from crying.

"Discharge papers fill kar diye tune?" Shravan asked.

"Haa ho gaye hai and doctor will be coming in few minutes to check her" Pushkar said.

"And what about..." Shravan stopped.

"Went!" Pushkar said and left the room not wanting to talk about that man anymore.

Shravan looked at Suman and saw fear in her eyes, he quickly hugged her again and she rested her head on his chest.

After 5 minutes the doctor came, Shravan pulled back only to realize that Suman fell asleep in his embrace. He made her lay on the bed properly and let the doctor check her.

"She is doing fine, just take good care of her. She will be fine in a few days!" The doctor said and left the room.

Shravan messaged Pushkar to get the car ready. He picked Suman in his arms and left the hospital.
