Part 1

Suman's POV

"Shravan mujhe kisi ki bhi help ki zaroorat nahi hai!" I said getting irritated as he was taunting me for not taking help from him.

"Nahi leni help na, toh mat lo! Lekin...." His words got cutted in between as Romi and Mausa ji made the announcement of my and Shravan's dance performance.

"Mai tumhare saath dance nahi karne wala! Ab dekhte hai ki tumhe meri zaroorat hai ki nahi" he said.

"Shravan abhi yeh sab baate karne ka wakt nahi hai, chup chaap chalo, dance karo aur nikal lege waha se!" I said and moved towards the stage only to look back and see Shravan moving towards the exit.

I saw a man coming towards me and forwarding his hand as if asking permission to dance with him. I looked confused at him.

"Beech stage mein akeli khari rahogi toh kaisa lagega, isse better hai ki mere saath dance karlo" he said.

So that I don't ruin the sangeet of Preeti and Pushkar, I kept my hand on his. The song started playing.

I saw Shravan stopping in the middle of his tracks as the song started playing. He turned around.

I don't know who is this guy dancing with me. I felt his hands on my bare waist and pulling me close to him.

I tried to push him but his hold on me got tighter. I didn't feel his intentions right. His touch was making me feel disgusted.

"Stop moving and keep dancing!" He said. My eyes getting teared up but I controlled them.

I looked at Shravan only to meet his red blood shot eyes filled with anger.

I thought that he will read my eyes and will come to save me but to my disappointment he couldn't read them.

His fingers started moving towards my back and I felt his nails scratching my back. I couldn't do anything, nothing!

Shravan's POV

I stopped in my tracks as I heard the song playing.

I was not dancing with Sumo then who was? I turned around only to see another guy dancing with her.

Anger took over me as I saw her dancing with someone else and not me. I wanted to kill that guy right this instant.

But I cannot ruin Pushkar and Preeti's wedding so I kept my anger to myself and saw them dancing.

As soon as the song ended I saw Sumo covering her back from the dupatta she was wearing and leaving the stage in rush.

What is wrong with her now?

Before I could follow Sumo, some of my relatives called me and I couldn't ignore them.

As soon as I finished talking with them I started looking for Sumo but she was nowhere to be found.

"Mausi Sumo kaha hai?" I asked Rachna mausi finally.

"Beta woh tog ghar chali gayi! Usne bola ki uski tabiyat (health) kuch kharaab lag rahi hai" Mausi said.

"Kya hua usse achanak se?" I asked getting worried for her.

"Pata nahi! Shaayad usne subah se kuch khaya nahi hai isliye aisa hua ho" Mausi said. Before I could ask something, someone called her and she left.

What would have happened to Sumo? She cannot leave the sangeet like this, this is so unusual of her. I need to go to the Tiwari Killa right now.

I left the venue and drove off to Tiwari Killa!
