Suman's POV

Shravan is staying by my side tonight. But when he told Ramnath uncle about his not going home, I got a glare from uncle.

"Shravan?" I called him when everyone left.

"Hmm?" He turned towards me.

"I guess you should go home, uncle was not happy about you not coming home!" I said not meeting his eyes.

"Sumo, look at me!" He said cupping my face in his hands and made me look in his eyes.

"I won't ever leave you, no matter what! And after knowing that Aditya is still at the venue then there is no way I am gonna leave you! So just put that thing in your head and stop asking me to go home!" He said.

"I am sorry and thank you for staying by my side!" I said.

"Sumo, no formality between friends!" He said and we both smiled.

"By the way, come with me to the terrace!" He added.

"Why?" I asked.

"Agar sab yahi pooch logi toh surprise kya rahega!" He said smiling.

"Fine!" I gave up because he won't tell that easily.

"Let's go then!" He said and held my hands, I followed him.

Shravan's POV

In the morning itself I decided to propose Sumo. I needed her by my side 24/7, I cannot leave her for a second after knowing that Aditya's background.

Flashback-

"Bhaiya Aditya ka bio data nikal gaya hai!" Pushkar said as he entered the room.

"Bata kya hai woh insaan?" I said and signaled him to sit beside me.

"Aditya Ahuja. Lives in Mumbai. His parents died when he was in his teens, he lives with his sister and their caretaker. Aur..." He stopped.

"Aur kya?" I asked.

"He was in jail for an year in the charge of attempt of rape!" He said.

"Rape!" I shot up from the couch. He nodded his head slowly.

"How does papa know him? Why did he invite him to the wedding?" There were a lot of questions running in my mind.

"I am also confused bhaiya! We need to do something!" Pushkar said.

"Pushkar listen to me carefully!" I said and he nodded.

"Actually I wanted to tell you something, the thing is I love Sumo!" I said.

"I know!" He said smiling.

"How do you know?" I asked.

"Well you both were the only one who didn't recognize what you both feel for each other. Baaki sab agar aap dono ko dekh le toh lagega ki aap dono couple ho!" He said.

"Oh... But what I was saying is, I will propose Sumo after your wedding! I want her to be my side, I need her safety" I said.

"I am happy for you bhaiya!" He said and we both smiled.

Flashback ends-

I blindfolded Sumo's eyes in the lift and brought her to the terrace.

"Shravan! Aur kitni der?" She asked. I was guiding her by holding her hands.

"Bas 2 minute aur Sumo! Have patience!" I said and we reached in the middle of the terrace.

"Now you can open your blindfold!" I said and she slowly removed her blindfold.
