Alastor's POV

I don't know what it is, but recently, I've been feeling rather...off. Like I'm... missing something. Incomplete, as it is. No matter how many bodies I dispose of, the nagging feeling just doesn't dissipate. I sigh, walking into the Hazbin Hotel.

"Hey Alastor," the annoying green wolf is on the couch, lounging, again. I keep asking people why he's here, but no one can give me an answer. Infuriating. I ignore his feeble attempt to rouse my attention, instead slipping through the hallways, a ghost. Everything has been running smoothly. Perfectly. Not a hint of failure anywhere on the grounds. Maybe I should shake things up? I smile wider. Hmm, perhaps finding a certain wolf's blood dripping from the ceiling would be shaking things up enough...

I laugh to myself, the feeling resurfacing a little more than usual. I sigh. Agitating. I wonder what the cause could be. I head back towards the front door. Maybe another few kills won't hurt. Well, not me, anyway.

I leave the building and head out, walking in a random direction. After a while, I end up coming to a forest. Curiosity. Recognition hits me hard, almost like I've been here before. Hmm. This day has turned out to be quite the curiosity indeed. I hear running water and follow the sound. I come to a river, crystal clear and fast moving. I follow it for a bit. I'm not exactly sure why. Instinct I guess. I pause on my walk. There appears to be a girl in the stream. I get a bit closer. No, she's not in the stream, but by it. She's a purple wolf with a burn down one side of her face. It suits her, actually. Her purple hair is long, waist long. Looks like it hasn't been cut in months. She reminds me strikingly of the green menace in the living room.

The girls ears shift, her tail twitches and she sniffs the air. She looks up at me and smiles a brilliant smile. That nagging feeling is slowly starting to fade, and yet heighten, as if I should be doing something I'm not.

"Hello, my dear," I greet her. She stands, closing the water bottle she had been filling.

"Hello," her smile is huge, but her eyes are sad. Was she expecting someone else?

"Alastor, my dear," I hold out a hand.

"V Sny-," she begins but quickly corrects herself. "Valerie."

"Well, Valerie, it's a pleasure to meet you," I shake her hand. She suddenly looks like she's about to cry. Oh, dear. The wind blows, and Valerie appears to be listening to it. She takes a deep breath, and lets it out.

"And you as well, Alastor," what a peculiar girl.

"Are you new to Hell? I haven't seen you around."

"Sort of," she giggles. "I've lived around here for two years. I don't really go into town that much." As if an after thought she mutters something that sounds like not like you would remember.

"My dear, I have a feeling we've met before," I raise an eye brow. She laughs this time.

"No, but you remind me of a good friend," I turns and walks off into the forest. "See you, Su talun~"

She waves and disappears into the woods.

"Su talon," I repeat, shaking my head. "What the Hell does that mean?"
