Amelia is skating along side Lightning as he works on paving the road, going in a large circle around him every once and awhile. "So... do you have any friends? What about family? How'd you get into racing? Ooooo, what's your top speed?" All the questions have started to pour out.

"No, I don't have friends, my family lives in Florida, it's a long story and I don't know." Lightning replies quickly.

"Hm." Amelia doesn't push any further though, she decides she is going to be patient with the stock car, his life is supposedly ending as of right now.

"How old are you anyway?" Lightning finally asks a question.

"I'm 18. Just turned 4 days ago." It's been a few days since Lightning has been in town as Amelia turned 18 the night McQueen wrecked the town. He and Doc raced eachother the day after McQueen showed up and Lightning had to scrape off the awful road he had initially paved because he lost the bet. Now he's starting over, and he's almost finished.

"Nice... um... happy birthday." Lightning said awkwardly.

"Oh, no don't say that, I don't overly like having my birthday fussed over. But thanks anyway." Amelia looks around town for awhile, Guido and Luigis shop is sparkling clean, Ramone and Flo are painting their fence. The town is already coming to life since McQueen came crashing into it, literally. Suddenly she gets jerked to the side, she squeals as her roller blades come out from under her. "Oh! Sorry A, I didn't see ya tere." Mater apologizes as Amelia stands up with a rather unhappy demeanour. Amelia puts her hand into a fist and hits the side of it into Mater, making a satisfying clinging sound. Mater winces a bit but nothing more, while McQueen chuckles. "Aren't you supposed to be paving the road or something." Amelia snaps at the racer.

"I really am sorry, A, I swear I'll make it up ta ya."

"You better, or your not gonna be driving around tomorrow you'll be so sore." Amelia says as she skates off.

"Wow, she's a handful isn't she." Lightning comments.

"Yea, I'm tellin ya, dont go gettin on her bad side, she cin be scary." Mater warns Lightning quietly.

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind." McQueen replies. Amelia takes a glance back, the racer has been getting a lot better with politeness. He's actually bearable now a days.

A couple hours later Amelia decides to go down to the dirt track with her quad. She puts her hair in a low pony tail and pulls the helmet on. She turns over the engine and heads out.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Doc asks

"Dirt track."

"Ok, be safe. And remember when you get to that turn"

Amelia cuts him off. "I know, I know," she says happily "turn right to go left. You've only told me a thousand times."

"Atta girl. You won't have to execute it like me, your quad is smaller and meant for dirt, even if you don't decide to do what I taught you, you won't end up in the cacti like Rookie." Doc explains.

"Sounds good!" And at that Amelia is off.

She comes up to Willies Butte and already sees McQueen there, trying to get that turn. Sheriff is watching him.

"Hey Sheriff. I see he finished the road. It looks good." Amelia greets

"Hey, Amelia. Yep." Is all Sheriff says.

"Sheriff, if you want I can keep an eye on him."

"Well thanks Amelia! I'm gonna go get a quart oil at Flo's."
