Nash's P.O.V 20 minutes prior...

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGG

That infuriating faint ringing sound was echoing in my ears as I was venturing through Jonah's mind. Mind travel wasn't anything new to me, I've had this ability since I was 14. It's just so unstable right now it gives me a headache with that damn sound fluke.

Flying through the mind of him was like going down suppressed-memory lane.

I could barely keep my head clear. If only I'd got to him sooner then he'd remember what he is and be able to at least talk to me telepathically.
A scream interrupts my thoughts and I dive forward and into a dark room, hiding in a corner.
There's two people there but all I hear are mumbles.

"Is that-" I stop myself. Jonah?
He's tied to a chair, dang it! He's with a twinchie too. I try to think of a way to get us out of here but then that monsters awful voice butts in.

"Nash, would you please come out?"
I contemplate for a moment, to see if he actually knows I'm there. However, I catch a glimpse of Jonah's face and I couldn't stop my self.

"What the heck." He said.

"JONAH!" I teleport to him because I'm stupid and didn't take the time to walk, who would? ITS Jonah. I stand in front of him and look to the Twinchie.
"L'lï k'cïk oü' y os d'räh röu y m'näd eï'hcn-ïwt ecä'f dluö'w ëvac nï!!!"I hiss at it.

"NASH!" I turn my head to see Jonah struggling out of his restraints.

"Nash, indeed.... You have made quite an entrance" the wretched figure says. It looks at it's hand as if inspecting non-existent finger nails. "You should have been quieter, dear boy, you should have been quieter." It looks up with that petrifying smile and bares its lifeless sockets into my eyes. "Could've made it out alive."

In an instant, the Twinchie  blares the same deafening scream I heard earlier. Jonah screams with it. So much pain is evident across his eyes. I don't know what to do, I'm stuck between helping myself and trying to save Jonah.

"NASH!!!" he sobs, my heart breaks a little. He's sobbing.

The Twinchie walked forward a little bit, and it felt like the noise level rose a couple of notches. I no longer heard screaming, but a constant ring that was sounding in my head. I couldn't concentrate, it hurt too much. "Jonah!?" I tried to yell for him. I swayed a little when I turned around to face him, "Jonah, I'm so sorry" I attempted to speak with him- though, it turned into a strangled cry.  I collapsed onto him and hung on as if my life depending on it. I couldn't let him go, I wouldn't. A soft, light touch was felt on my cheek. My head lifted, and a vibrant green met my irises. The hand on my face flicked and instantaneously- Jonah had his hands and arms free. It was then that the screaming finally stopped.

"STOP LIVING!" the twinchie roared at us both. Smoke filled the air in a suffocating manner. It was everywhere.

"BISH! DON' TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" Jonah said-er...sassed back. At a time like this, he's still so magnificent. He pushed me, as well as himself, off of the chair and stood up. His hand seemed to move on its own, elegant and swift. He rearranged the room by will. How? I've never seen him do this- I didn't even know he could do this!

I sank to the floor and sat there in complete shock and adoration. His hair started to stand on end giving off the affect that there was a steady wind. His eyes were so focused and his profile was tilted just right. HE WAS SO GOOD LOOKING- given the circumstances....

I was so wrapped up in looking at that pretty face, that I didn't even notice that the Twinchie was slowly cowering away. When I saw this I snapped back into reality. Then it hit- I felt it. He was radiating so much power, Jonah. His hands were so steady and his stance was firm. If I didn't know better, I would have guessed he was in his sixth year at the academy. Though, this feeling of electricity in the air was entirely different from any student I could ever remember encountering. When did Jonah become so.... refined?

Jonah gave a final wave of his hand and the Twinchie slammed into the wall of the room. He was weakened! I used this time to tap into his mind, mentally preparing myself for a landscape filled with atrocity. It was exhilarating- this has never been done before!

I felt myself travel through the tunnels within its mind, it was so dark, so cold. There was nothing but a level of hatred and agony. The tunnel itself was a murky yellow color (very off putting by the way). In my mind bubble I observed faces crying in pain,
their eyes closed tight as a way to cope. In a sense, I could feel every once of scrutinizing torture they went through, and I had to bite my lip to keep from screaming.

There was a place in its mind filled with an astray array of doors. An unfamiliar pattern to a mindscape, actually. I have traveled hundreds of minds and not once have I seen one like this. Almost like it wanted to confuse anyone who came here by chance, though, by doing this- it confuses itself.

"GET OUT" I heard a growl. "GET OUT!!!"

My analysis came to a halt, time to rock and roll. Concentrating on pulling myself out of there, I closed my eyes. Just as soon, my senses alerted my brain that the room filled with the same disturbing smoke. I felt the familiar sensation of a tug that comes with exiting a mind and gasped for breath as I settled back into my own body. My eyes opened and saw Jonah sitting up....on the Greene's couch. We were no longer in his mind.

"Thank goodness!!"
"Oh my god!"
Reagan and Mrs. Greene cried as they hugged Jonah and I.

"What the hell happened in there?!" Brandon asked me.

I looked at Jonah, his hair was disheveled and his eyes looked dazed. "It...it was a Twinchie.... He came back, and...."

How did he know what the Twinchie was? How did he know to say he came back? Did he-?

No way.

"I remember."
