Third Person's POV.

Sabito along with his best friend, Giyuu was sent to a poor village for a mission. Villagers have claimed that cooks have been taken away at night. When they got there, it was 3 pm in the afternoon. They booked at a hotel and ate in a nearby restaurant. They interrogated customers about the disappearances of the chefs. They claimed that after their shifts, they were taken. One kid claimed that she saw something take her father ( who was also a chef) inside a portal and vanished. Sabito thought, Creating portals must have been its Blood Demon Art. Sabito looked over to Giyuu, and both nodded. They knew what the other was thinking. It's like they can mind read but since they trained together under Urokodaki-Sensei, they had the same train of thought.

So on the following night, both dressed up as chefs and "left their shifts from the back". They had their swords ready under their clothing. As soon as one of them had one foot out of the kitchen leading out of the restaurant, a portal had opened up in the ground. Giyuu fell into the hole and Sabito had jumped over it. The hole wasn't that deep and Giyuu was seen clearly from the surface.

Giyuu yelled out, "Hey, I found the missing chefs!" Giyuu saw all of the frightened chefs tied up. The 10 missing chefs were there, held hostage, in a dark room. Suddenly a new voice spoke out saying, "Why hello there! Welcome to the kitchen! Where you'll be the meal!" Giyuu took off his chef attire and had his sword ready at hand. Sabito was about to jump in but something grabbed him and threw him farther from the portal.

Another demon has appeared. The surface demon said, "My, my. Two! A two-for-one special! Fantastic!" The demon licked his lips and drooled. Sabito held his stance and sword. "Water breathing Second Form! Water Wheel!"' both demon slayers cried out.

The 2 users of the Water Breathe lunged at the demons. They successfully slashed their swords at them. The demons looked at them with raging eyes and attacked them back. As they fighting, Giyuu noticed that the portal was closing slowly every second. It seemed that the demon he was facing, was losing his breathe because his stamina was slow. Giyuu took that chance and beheaded the demon. He then walked to all the victims and took them out of the hole successfully. No remains were left behind and everyone was out running of their lives. As Giyuu was doing that, he saw that his friend was struggling. The surface demon was really good. He had great speed and strength. He had scars everywhere but on the neck. Was he trained by a strong master? Giyuu thought to himself. He then snapped out of thought as he saw Sabito "fly" away 200 yards out where Giyuu was from.m

Giyuu quickly ran to the demon. With a blink of an eye, the demon swiftly turned around Giyuu and kicked him really far. Sabito who was heavily panting, ran to Giyuu's side saying, "Is this an Upper Demon?" Giyuu replied, "I don't think so. His eyes are clear as red. Blood red." The two glanced at the demon walking toward them. The surface demon said, "Aw, already giving up? Damn, I haven't got a good fight for months. I must say, you guys are the crappy demon slayers huh? Well, in that case, I will have some fun with you guys before eating you whole."

Sabito and Giyuu shivered at that response. His voice was so deep and threatening. They really wanted this to end. They both charged at the demon together. It took forever until Giyuu was knocked out cold from his strong punch. Right after it happened, Sabito slashed his sword into the demon's neck and beheaded it.

Sabito ran to Giyuu's side and watched the demon vanish. Sabito checked his pulse and was relieved. His pulse was doing just fine. As Sabito just sat there, he watched the surface demon whisper loudly, "I just wanted to prove my chance for you. Forgive me!" Then his head disappeared. Sabito just sat there and waited for the recovery team.

As the recovery team carried them to the Butterfly Estate, Sabito closed his eyes and smiled. After a few minutes, he went into a deep sleep.
