The party was already underway by the time that you arrived. Immediately, you found your brothers and went over to hug them both.
"(N/n), you look just like a princess!" Sam said, hugging you.
"Well, that is what I am." You sassed back.
Both boys laughed. "I guess you're feeling ok if you're being a smartass then." Dean said.
You nodded. "I guess so." You said quietly.
Some part of you of really wished your guard hadn't have interrupted. That you had gotten a chance to speak to Gabriel. For real. Like you'd done during the trip.
You just knew that whatever he'd wanted to tell you was important. You just wished he'd told you...

Some minutes later, you watched the party from a corner where no one could see you. You were moments away from being introduced to the guests and you were nervous.
Aside from your brothers dancing like dorks and Castiel trying to nervously speak to women, which made you laugh, you felt upset and you knew why. One very important person was missing from the celebration.
"I'm sorry, darling, but he's not there."
"Who?" You asked, your thoughts far away.
Rowena smiled. "I know love when I see it. I saw it between your parents everyday until I lost them and I see it with you and Gabriel. You love him and he loves you. You were meant for each other."
"I'm not so certain, Grand Mama."
"Well I am." She said, sharply. "He sacrificed himself for you all those years ago. He gave up his grace so that you and I could escape. Then he brought you back to me and, when I offered him a reward, he turned it down. He sacrificed his chance to get his grace back. If that's not love, then I don't know what is."
You were silent for a moment, thinking about that. "He didn't take the reward?" You asked, confused.
"No." She said. "I asked him what he desired and all he wanted was you."
That made a stray tear escape your eyes. "Grand Mama, I don't wanna leave you."
"I'll be fine. Trust me, he needs you more than I do." She turned her attention to the crowd that was laughing and singing along to the music. "I have to go. Let me know your decision in a few minutes."
With that, she left you alone with your thoughts. Your thoughts were running a mile a minute. What should you do?
A single thought bubbled to the surface, clear as day. You needed to talk to Gabriel. You needed to find out what he was trying to tell you earlier!
Just as you were about to go find him, you saw something. A weird flash of red. You blinked. This time, you swore you saw wings.
What the heck?
More memories were starting to claw their way to the surface, unbidden. Your head was hurting so bad so you decided to go outside for a moment to clear it. Besides the noise inside wasn't helping your headache.
You stepped outside onto the balcony and let the fresh air of the evening invade your nostrils. It helped to calm your mind and ease you into a sense of peace.
Once again, you decided to go looking for Gabriel. This time, however, you heard something coming from the direction of the woods. You listened again and heard a scream.
There was only one choice. You immediately headed in the direction of the sound to save whatever poor soul was screaming in those woods, unknowingly walking right into a trap.

"Now introducing the lost princess finally found, Princess (Y/n)!" Rowena called, motioning to the stage.
Nothing happened. After a few tries, Rowena walked through the curtain to find you gone. Immediately, she began to panic.
She rushed over to where your brothers were acting like doofs. "Boys, have you seen (y/n)?" She asked.
"Not since the party started." Sam said.
"I thought she was with you." Dean added.
"She was but now I can't find her!"
Castiel suddenly appeared beside the group. "Then we need to find her! Who knows what could've happened to her!"
With that, the group split up to find you, all worrying something terrible had happened.
* * * * *
You found yourself lost as you wandered in the woods, trying to discern where the scream had come from. Something in you was telling you to leave, to run as far from this wretched place as possible but another part of you couldn't help but to continue moving.
You suddenly heard a voice calling your name. "(Y/n)...."
You moved as if the person calling you had you strung up. You moved closer and closer to the voice.
Finally, you emerged from the woods to find yourself on a bridge of some sort. It had suddenly gotten quite dark and fog rolled in, making it hard to even see your hand in front of your face.
That's when a figure appeared from the fog. He was tall with a dishevelled moo of blond hair, dark circles under his eyes, and dressed in a simple t-shirt, blue jeans, and leather jacket.
There was something familiar about the man....
"(Y/n), your imperial highness," he bowed in a sarcastic way, "look what these ten years have done for you! You are a beautiful young flower. The perfect woman for my traitorous brother." He whispered in a deadly soft voice.
"That face..." Memories were starting to come back to you. You knew you recognized the man but you weren't sure how.
"As seen at a party just like this one." The man added. "A celebration for your family. First for your father's coronation. Now for your return."
Pieces were starting to fall in place and you remembered what you'd told Gabriel that night on the boat. "A curse?"
The man nodded. "Followed by a tragic end to them all. Remember?"
The man then smiled evilly, his eyes turning a crimson red, and the shadow of his giant wings appeared behind him.
And that's when the final piece fell into place for you.
This was the man or rather, archangel, who destroyed your family and ruined your life.
Lucifer.
