   Gabriel took a deep breath as he entered his father's house for the last time.
   His father sat on the couch, typing on his computer. He looked up when Gabriel entered the room.
   "Is it done?" Gabriel asked.
   Chuck smiled. "Yes. They have reunited."
   Gabriel nodded. "I guess this means she'll be leaving soon then."
   He started to walk away but Chuck stopped him. "Where are you going?"
   "I'm leaving Paris tomorrow evening. I have nothing left for me here."
   "(Y/n) still needs you. You're her guardian angel."
   Gabriel let a small bitter laugh escape his lips. "I may be her guardian angel but, trust me, father, she doesn't need me. She has her family now. She has Rowena and her brothers and I'm fairly certain Cassie has decided to stick around." He sighed. "Besides, I hurt her. She wants nothing more to do with me. So I'll respect her wishes and let her go."
   "You really love her, don't you?"
   Gabriel glared at his father. "You already know the answer to that question." Another sigh. "I've loved her since the first time I met her and I will love her until the end of time."
   "Gabriel," Chuck called him, "things will work out. Believe me. I know."
   "You don't have to lie to me." Gabriel said. "Things never work out for me."
   With that, he went back out the door without another word.
                           * * * * *
   "I'd like to take you home, dear. It's time that the lost princess was found." Rowena said.
   "Then I guess I'll grab my bags." You said, smiling at your grandmother.
   The two of you were making your way downstairs when you heard Gabriel speaking to Chuck. You stopped in your tracks and listened.
   You heard Chuck refer to Gabriel as your guardian angel and Gabriel's confession of how he had always loved you. It made you sad as you thought about what had happened less than an hour ago.
   You waited until the door closed to continue walked down the stairs. Chuck was standing in the living room, a thoughtful look on his face.
    That's when you walked over to him and smacked him on the face!
    "How could you?!" You shouted. Chuck didn't respond so you continued, "You abandoned him and gave him an impossible job? You make him have feelings for me then tear us apart? He may've lied to me but he never would've done something as foul as you did!"
   Chuck took a deep breath. "I didn't force him to fall in love with you. He did that on his own. You both did." Shaking his head, he said, "I have to leave. But, just remember, true love overcomes all."
   Then he left you feeling very confused.
                             * * * * *
   You had calmed down by the time you arrived at Rowena's huge mansion. After arriving, you went to your room to unpack your things and change into your pajamas.
   Rowena had come to check on you and took you to her study to talk. Your conversation with her lifted up your spirits as your memory was slowly coming back to you.
   As you gazed around the room, your eyes fell on a family portrait. In the front stood your parents, holding hands. Rowena stood behind your father, a big smile on her face and a much younger version of you stood in front of your parents, a little smile on your lips.
    Rowena saw where your gaze had gone and smiled. "I miss them." You said quietly.
    She nodded. "I miss them too. But they would not want us to live in the past. Not now that we have found one another. Which reminds me. I have a gift for you."
    "No, Grand Mama! No gifts are necessary! Just being here with you is enough."
   "But you'll want this one, dear." She said, walking over to a desk on one side of the room.
   She opened a drawer and pulled out a box. Opening it, she revealed a beautiful tiara.
   "This was your mother's. And, now, it is yours." She said, placing the tiara on your head.
   You looked in the mirror and smiled. For the first time since this had all began, you actually felt like a princess.
                            * * * * *
    Lucifer had set up inside a rather large abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. He was pacing the floor, at midnight, in front of various monsters and demons, all of them waiting for his word.
    "We must prepare ourselves! I need to look my best for this evening. As you all know, Lady Rowena has decided to throw a ball to celebrate the return of the lost princess. That's when we attack!"
    One of the monsters stepped forward. "Why not just let her go? The guilty parties have all been punished."
    "Not all." Lucifer replied dangerously.
    "She was just child. Just let her go and get a life!"
    The entire crowd gasped. Lucifer only grinned. "Oh I'll get a life alright!" He snapped and the monster turned into dust. "Hers!" Then he turned his attention to the rest. "Anyone else have any objections?" Everyone immediately shook their heads. "Good. Then let's begin the preparations!"
   And, with that, they began while wondering just how mad Lucifer had become...
