*Flashback*
I was in the spaceship, Urai, with her. Our job was to find the notorious intergalactic assassin, Aryana Imus, and assassinate him.

We had been tracking him for 8 karlls. And it all led to the crazily religious occult planet, Kirgoya meaning, Skull.

We landed on the planet as stealthily as possible. It was after sun lay on the planet and the three beautiful moons had shown their faces.

Sunlay meant we had more darkness which would allow more stealth.

We had one job and we would complete it. The Skullans were keeping the target as a guest for some kind of freakshow worship competition. We were to get into the main combat hall, past all the security posts and into the confined chambers to kill our target. Getting in was easy considering our suits provided invisibility level stealth mode. This mode allowed us to blend in with the surrounding by literally making us invisible.

We got in through the main entrance which was heavily guarded. We had map showing the pathway to the target's quarters on our wrist tabs.

We managed to get past the second heavily guarded post and into the main combat hall without any difficulty. Our stealth suits returned to normal after the time limit gave in. It would recharge itself meaning we had five kreons to get the job done.

Our map led us to the central quarters, keeping us as far from an encounter with the guards as possible. We moved cautiously, expecting an attack of any kind.

We arrived at the doors of our target's quarters without much difficulty. I used a heat detector to check if anyone else was there. The heat detector only showed the heat signature of our target. We moved in after deactivating the doors using a pulse breaker, a device that could also be used to knock a person out for a while.

The target seemed to be resting on a bed beside a huge window. The room was a typical one, intricate designs of ancient worship on the wall, battle relics hanged as designs and treasured arts and pieces arranged neatly on stands and tables.

I put my gun behind me and drew out my blade, a short dagger made from the core of a drgair. I approached the sleeping figure slowly and carefully stabbed his head. I watched as the blood gently flowed out of his head. I was satisfied and disappointed at the same time.

We moved out after completely making sure there were no patrols around. We made it out of the confined quarters safely.

We were almost through the last checkpoint which was the most heavily guarded place in the whole area.

That was when the alarm sounded. We had been discovered. We started running towards our exit with our guns ready for an attack. That was when we got hit. The guards had apparently known we were there and had planned ahead of us. We were blasted with paralysis beams hidden in the doorways. We were immobilized our mission had been compromised. Someone had probably given us away.

As the guards lifted us, we saw who was responsible for our capture. It was our copilot, our friend, Vyall San. He had betrayed us to the Skullans. I looked at him intently with rage.

"I'm sorry it had to be this way,Muad. We all have our choices.....and mine is with riches...." He said as he walked towards me and squatted so he could look in my eyes,"I hope you'll forgive me too, Lueana. It's nothing personal........just business. "

With that he signalled that they take us away. We were sent to a holding room. A very untidy one. We were thrown in roughly and the guard who threw me in kicked me in the gut and said,
"Prepare for the worst."

I wake up to a beeping sound. My head is aching really hard and so is my lower abdomen. I'm still in the medical ward, with my body covered in bandages.

The General walks in, with Selein right behind him. "Muad, crupa scin matach eina totorina. Don't be so reckless next time. Am I clear?? "

"Yes, General" I say in a professionally official voice. I mean who scolds a person who just woke up after getting shot. This is why I left the military.

The General nods and turns to the medical attendant who just entered the room. He turns his attention back to me after affirming my immediate discharge.

"We have a lot to talk about, Dita Muad." Dita is the official title added to my name now that I am the leader of the Maru Eaters." Your mission to rescue her has been postponed and I am sure you are aware of that already. You will be joining the team to run tests on some new weapons and armory available."

"What kind??" I ask as I am freed from all the tubes by the medical attendant. I sit on the side of the bed and look at him.

"You'll see." He says with amusement in his voice as he exits the room.
