Marcus shouted as they all rushed to hug their friend, causing a scene in the cafeteria, everyone looked at them and whispered about how they have no shame by doing this in the cafeteria. Tyrone felt happy to be loved by a bunch of crackheads making him chuckle that turned into laughter, one by one, they joined him, all of them living in the moment. A soft yet stern voice interrupted their sweet moment, making Tyrone’s breath hitched.
“Is there a problem here?”
They all glanced at the person and immediately let go of Tyrone, composing themselves in front of the student council president and Tyrone’s girlfriend. Tyrone stood up with an unknown emotion seen in his eyes. Shane went up to him and hugged him with a smile although Tyrone did not return the hug making Shane confused. She looked at him with worried eyes and asked the question that still hasn’t been answered a while ago;
“What’s wrong?
Tyrone let out a heavy sigh that he kept for a long time. He needed to do what’s the best for them, that’s why;
“I’m breaking up with you.”
Gasps of surprise and shock was heard in the air, they didn’t expect this to happen and questions were being asked. Shane was loss at words, but she mumbled out a small
“Why?”
Despite the fact that he wanted to breakdown because of the pain that he is feeling, he smiled through it all with saddened eyes.
“You looked happy with him.”
“With who?”
“The guy you were hugging earlier.”
Tyrone was a bit angered that Shane had to act like she didn’t know anything, but kept his calm demeanour. Shane started crying and sobbing repeating the words of;
“I’m sorry.”
Tyrone left the girl there crying with his friends. The day ended and they all went to their respective dorms. Tyrone just wanted the day to end , he wanted to sleep, but before that he took the longest shower, contemplating his decisions. He went to his bedroom and prepared himself for bed.
Tyrone was about to doze off when a sudden vibration that came from his phone made his eyes go open. He took his phone from his dresser and saw a text from an unknown person.
