Rue went to school, smiling to herself with the conversation she had with the boy from the past. Once she entered, she was met face to face with her childhood best friend, a solemn expression seen on his face.
Alex opened his mouth to talk and Rue while Rue looked at Alex with an unreadable expression, she waited for him to speak but it seem as thought that he was lost for words.
Shaking his head, Alex cleared his throat and with confidence said;
"Are you free later?"
Rue raised a brow at this and replied;
"Again?"
Alex furrowed his brows and a frown etched onto his face.
"I just need to say something."
"If this is about the confession thing, the--."
"Just go to Stephania's diner."
Rue scoffed and nodded nonetheless, she walked by him attention focused on her phone, Alex hurt by this action, he shook his head and sighed, following her to their homeroom with a distance between them.
All he could do was watch and stare at the girl, he couldn't do anything right now but he would apologize to Rue later.
To the students luck, their homeroom teacher did not attend once again, giving them an hour of free time for themselves.
Cover noticed that Alex looked much better than yesterday resulting for Cover to smile.
Rue though was having a blast with Tyrone, it was as if she was catching feelings for th-. Rue shook her head getting all flustered,
'There's no way i'm catching feelings for this guy!'
