“Yes Rue. I mean I don’t like you but I love you now.”
He waited for Rue’s reply to his confession.
“And also, I’m sorry about not telling you that I was actually born with money. Means I’m rich…” he added because he thought that she will make up her mind and she will like him back.
Rue was so shocked because of Alex’s confession. She was also shocked because of the secret that is revealed. She thought that Alex added up the rich thing so that she follows him and love him. But, Rue is not a gold digger. And also Rue has some feelings for the guy “Tyrone” that she met online.
“Umm… I’m s-sorry Alex. But I like someone else.” She replied.
“W-what? Is it because of that guy you met online huh?!” He said in a raging tone.
“I d-don’t know! I j-just don’t like you! I only think of you as a f-friend…”
“You only thought of me as a friend huh… You never saw me as a man. A man that loves a woman…not a friend.” He replied in a sad tone.
“S-sorry… Alex…” She replied in a sad tone too.
“Sorry? Ha.ha.ha…”
“I r-really appreciated your invitation. I’m sorry for not contributing for the food… I s-should go.” She said.
“W-wait Rue… it’s fine.” He said while smiling but still sad.
“What d-do you mean?”
“I meant its fine that you didn’t contribute and not liking me back. I hope we can still be friends… bestfriends” he said while tears are dropping in his cheeks.
“o-oh, of course!” She went to Alex and hugged him.
“I’m really sorry…I love you…As a friend…” She said while they were hugging. She was also crying. After she said that she hurriedly went out and went home.
“I love you too…Rue…” He replied while watching her got out of the restaurant. He was a crying mess.

Rue’s POV
I hurriedly went to my room and cried. I was crying because of seeing my best friend also cry because of me.
“Why? Why do you like me now when I like someone else huh?” She said while crying.
“I really like you…I love you… But as a friend.”
