Tyrone went to school, cellphone at hand. He was waiting Rue's message, never putting the phone away. His friends noticed that he was so focused on his phone, even on class hours.
They initially thought that he was conversing with someone and decided to pry him about this.
“I bet he's in love.”
Zach said, Tyrone looked up with a flustered face and denied what the guy said.
“N-no I'm not!”
“Ah, he's totally in love.”
Leila butted in, and everyone nodded in agreement;
“Who are you even talking to though?”
Piped Lucas, with curiosity in his eyes. The others asked him the same thing as they all cornered him, Tyrone scratched his head and shrugged:
“It’s no one really.”
“No oNe.”
“iTs nO oNe rEallY.”
“rEaLlY iT's nO oNe.”
The others mocked him and Tyrone stood there annoyed, he groaned and admitted that he is talking to someone;
“Are they cute?”
“How’d you meet them?”
“Do they like you back?”
Tyrone was now surrounded by his friends and he is cornered again, he answered their questions and they were satisfied with the response.
“Are you in love with her?”
That one question seem to struck something in his mind as he stood there contemplating his feelings for Rue. He breathe a sigh and with a loving daze, he replied;
