It was pitch black, her eyes tried to pry them open but it was painful. As if it was getting gauge out.
Jeongyeon huffed as she laid on the floor, her head spinned around as smoke stench the area she was in.
What happened...? She thought, her limbs are aching and something was crushing her leg. Was there an explosion? But I heard gunshots?
“What happened here?!”
“Is the girl okay?!”
The voice echoed in her head as she finally got her vision back, her eyes darted on the wall. There were multiple gunshot holes, part of the cell she was in were cracked as part of the cement wall was missing. Jeongyeon tried to get up but let out a yelp, excruiciating pain shocked through her body.
Her right leg was crushed underneath the fallen wall, something caused it to fall onto her.
“..Nayeon?” she whispered when she remembered that she was talking to the girl not long ago. She saw her earpiece, it was still okay. But something caught her attention.
Blood was dripping from her, she looked at it was it kept on dripping on the debried floor. She touched her face, it was sticky and warm.
I'm..bleeding?
The cell door reflects any object, almost the same as a mirror. She crawled and looked at her reflection.
Her eye was hit, her left eye was hit by something.
“Damn.. What the heck really happened?” She mumbled and groaned at the pain she waa feeling, “My leg is pulvurized by the wall and now I might or already lost my eye.”
She took the earpiece and attached it quick to her ear. Her finger tapped the side to redial the last call. It was a minute on ringing before the call was answered.
“JEONGYEON!” It was Sana, Jeongyeon cringed a bit from the voice before she heard someone talking in the back ground,“What happened?! Nayeon said she heard a gunshots fired over there?!”
“Urgh... She's not wrong..” Jeongyeon husked out, feeling the pain in her leg,“I don't know what really h-happened. The place got raided or something I don't k-know.”
“I'll put you on speaker okay? I'm with the rest.”
Jeongyeon leaned back on the wall and kept her voice in minimum. She huffed and took a deep breathe,“My eye is injured, my leg is crushed. Someone tried to set them off, was it you guys?”
“Oh no.” Mina said,“We haven't even made a move just yet, could someone knew that you're gone?”
Jeongyeon sighed,“I don't know. I don't know how many days I have been here either.”
“We're still trying to find your location—”
“Where's Nayeon? I want to speak to her.”
It was a few minutes when Jeongyeon suddenly heard a familiar cry. She chuckled and heard the voice she asked for.
“JEONGYEON—”
“Nayeon-ah. I know I know, I'm alive. Please tone your voice down.”
She felt relieved hearing Nayeon's voice, Jeongyeon looked down at her hands and spoke up.
“Hey, get me out of here quick. Okay? I want to tell you something in person.” she said.
“Why can't you tell it now?” Nayeon asked while sniffling on the other line.
“It's a surprise.” Jeongyeon smiled a bit before her call got cut. She cussed a bit knowing her phone died on her.
She took off her earpiece before holdin it tight on her hand.
