"when the sky turns to grey and there's nothing to say,
at the end of the day, I choose you." —alessia cara, i choose

it was a tradition. every monthsary, we went bowling. it was my idea for our first month, but i quickly regretted it. minhyuk was an amazing bowler you see, you'd think he could compete in professional competitions after seeing him play.

he never failed to impress my family. in many aspects, by the way. but this was just one. on our tenth monthsary, we invited both our families to play.

my family, they're mediocre in playing bowling. minhyuk's family on the other hand, oh well—you could only imagine where minhyuk's genes came from. almost every throw was a strike, and of course my side of the family were all in awe.

it wasn't my first time seeing his family play, a couple of times when they visited minhyuk at college they'd go for bowling.

they taught me a couple of tricks, minhyuk leading most. he guided me, from the right form to the right type of throw. it took quite a while for me to get it, he distracted me a lot, sneaking little pecks in between teaching.

those tricks came in handy when my side of the family played against them. we almost ended with a tie, but mrs. lee's last throw topped us by some more points. we went for dinner after that. it was one of the happiest and most memorable moments in my history with him.
