Candice And Daniel Start Dating.

The next morning, I woke up to no Candice next to me. I saw her in the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body and she was on the phone with someone who I guessed was a divorce attorney. I slowly got up and out of bed and walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door making her turn and smile at me. I whispered, 'found a lawyer to handle your divorce?' She nodded and grinned. I kissed her once and she smiled as I got in the shower and got ready for the day.  She left the bathroom as she continued talking with the lawyer on the phone.
I let the shower loosen up my back and just let the water run down my back and arms as the match that happened the night before was the most brutal I have ever been in save for a few matches I had with Pentagon Jr.
I smiled as I thought about how I was going from happy loner to being in a soon to be boyfriend/girlfriend relationship with Candice LeRae.
When I got out of the shower, I dried off and went out to get dressed for the day and got a few wolf whistles from Candice. "My god, The Daredevil is hot as hell."
"Thanks for the compliment, Candy sweetie." I laughed as I got on my jeans and a crimson red shirt. "So, what did the attorney say?"
"She'll take the case and promises to have the papers drawn up by tomorrow. And if Johnny keeps his word. By the weekend, I'll be a divorced woman and that will mean. You and I will have a chance at being an actual couple." She approached me and took my hands in hers.
"Worried that Johnny won't keep his word?" I asked.
"It's not that, well, it is but," I chuckled.
"Candy sweetie. Take a breath and tell me what it's about." She took a couple deep breaths.
"I am worried that Johnny won't keep his word, but I want you to be be honest with me. Which I'm sure it will be a recipe for disaster." She snickered. "I just want to know. That I can count on you. No matter what we face or go through."
"Candy. I love you. I never would have gone against Gargano if I didn't think that you could count on me." I slid my left hand over her right cheek and she grinned.
"I love you too. And I want to be with you, I..." I leaned in and kissed her. Which she melted into after a moment. When I broke the kiss she smiled and said, "What was I saying?"
"You love me." I grinned as she nodded.
"Yes, yes I do." She gave me a quick kiss before heading dowstairs to the kitchen.
I called Hunter and he told me that I didn't have to be at Mania. He also said that since my match stole the show at Takeover last night. I would have a few weeks off to rest up and wanted to know if I'd be up for a change of scenery and was interested in moving up to the main roster. I told him I wouldn't go without Candice. He told me he would make arrangements so Candice would be with me on the main roster. When he asked what brand I'd like to go to and I told him Smackdown.

After my call with Hunter, I went downstairs myself and I could smell the pancakes and sausage. "Hungry?" Candice grinned as I walked up behind her, wrapped my arms around her waist from behind, and kissed her neck.
"Yes I am." I replied simply. She giggled as I kissed her cheek before going out and retrieving the morning paper. When I returned to the kitchen I opened the paper and started reading.
"Breakfast is served, baby." Candice said as she walked up with two plates, one for me, one for her. I put the paper down and grabbed utensils for both of us and the maple syrup for the pancakes. I handed her a fork and sat down and we ate breakfast.

After breakfast and after washing, drying and putting the dishes away. We went for a walk for a few blocks and made our way back to my apartment.
"Daniel," Candice started, "When my divorce is finalized. I think we should get a place in California. To begin our new lives together."
I smiled as I kissed her forehead, "Well, I've been aching for a change of scenery." I smiled as I continued, "There's only so much of Virginia Beach, Virginia a man can take. And I have good news." She chuckled as she looked at me. "You and I will be on Smackdown. We will be on the main roster."
"How did you accomplish that?" She asked.
"I told Hunter that I wouldn't go anywhere without you." I replied.
She hugged and kissed me.
"And that's why I love you." She nuzzled her face into my chest. "And we don't have to sell your home in Virginia. I think we can keep it and use it as a summer home."
"Well I haven't been to my home in Virginia for close to a couple of years. And wherever my girl goes. I go." I said as she sighed in relief.
