"Do you think Kai's coming?" Cali says as she fixed her satin skirt. My eyes widen at the mention of my brother's name.

I can't believe she's interested in Kai, my brother of all people? Well, I don't blame her though. She doesn't even know Kai and I knew each other.

"Why would he be at Mave's Party?" I asked. I was at Cali's house as we prepared for Mave's party later.

"I don't know? Mave invited everyone to go today."  She shrugs before putting on her hoop earrings while looking in the mirror.

"Why are you even asking if Kai's gonna be there? Are you guys..." I said as my face crumpled in disgust. Please say no.

"Oh, I wish. I still haven't forgotten when we kissed at my car." She glances at me with a smirk while holding her lipgloss.

I just wish she knew Kai's my brother but Kai didn't want to so, I didn't tell anyone.

"Here, let me put some gloss on your dull lips. I don't even know how you flirt with that. I aspire to have your confidence," She snickered while I glared at her as she applied lipgloss on my lips.

"Franco's been texting me already! I think you need to hurry up, Callista!" I hissed while pulling down the end of my dress.

I stood up to wear a black ankle strap heels to pair with my beige velvet dress that revealed my back a little.

"I'm just gonna pretend you didn't call me that," Cali says, rolling her eyes at me.

A few minutes later, Franco's car was already parked in front of Cali's house.

"Oh, ladies! You have outdone it! You sure both of you are single?" Franco had a playful smile while he slowly clapped his hands at us.

"Yes and I'm about to take in all the ladies and gentleman coming through," Cali answered, winking at Franco as we got in at the back of the car.

"Pick a team, Cali. You're not leaving much for me!" Franco says while starting the car.

"Then you should do better, Franco." Cali countered as she smirked.

Mave greeted us at the door before letting us in. There were a lot of people inside, she really did invite everyone, unlike the last time that I went to her party.

The loud speaker in the living room could already be heard from the front door and all the people scattered the whole house.

Franco handed us red cups as we went to the kitchen and Cali pouring my cup with a drink.

"Hey, take this shot too!" Franco poured six shot glasses with tequila.

"Two shots each," Franco and Cali taking their shots while I drank first from my cup.
