Chapter 3

Josh POV

It came to be the day Matt and Scarlet got married. "Hey Scar, can I come in?"
She came and opened up the door and the next thing I knew her arms were around me in a tight hug. "Thank you josh. Thank you for everything. You've always been there for me and today you'll be walking me down the isle and you have no idea how much it means to me" she spoke quietly and I felt a tear fall from her eye. "Scarlet. Don't cry ok? Everything's gonna be alright. You know Matt would never do anything to hurt you." I said softly wiping the tears from her eyes. We just stood there for a few minutes. Me holding her there protectively not saying a word.

Scarlet POV

Kim and Megan were in the room with me at the moment and I had my dress on. I walked out with my hair and makeup done and they both gasped. "Scarlet, you look beautiful." Megan said. As opposed to saying anything, I just walked up and hugged the both of them. "Thank you" There was a knock at the door and I knew it was Josh. My anxiety was biting away at me but I knew Matt would never hurt me in any way possible. I hadn't even noticed Kim had opened the door but the next thing I saw was Josh standing in the room in a brand new tux with my favourite red tie from the Good To You video. He just stood there, jaw dropped. "Scar, y-you l-look" he coughed. "You look amazing" he smiled. "You too Ramsay." I replied chuckling. I walked up and took his hand interlocking his fingers and bring them up towards our faces. "Best friends, this world and the after." I laughed slightly. "Oh my gosh I haven't heard that for years." He smiled. He took my arm in his and we started walking towards the entrance of the church.

Matt's POV

I stood at the alter, glancing around nervously. The music had started to play and I had looked everywhere except down the isle. Then I saw her. Her dark hair was curled and pulled over to the side and the flower covered veil flowed down the back. Her dress flowed out behind with thin sleeves and it was just beautiful. The thing that stood out the most, however, was the smile on her face. She had a glowing smile and it made me feel as if everything was going to be alright.

Scarlet POV

We reached the alter and I gave josh a hug and turned towards Matt. I didn't want to let go of Josh's hand, but I had to. "Please join hands." We did as he said. "Ladies and Gentleman, we are gathered here today to join this man and this woman together in holy matrimony." The priest continued and my anxiety just continued to grow. I can't kiss Matt. We've never kissed before. What if he thinks I'm a bad kisser. What if I turn out to be like Nicole and he hates me. "Matthew Webb, do you take Scarlet to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Matt smiled. "I do" that lowered my anxiety a bit I mean Matt knows about it too and he seemed to be alright. "And Scarlet Maxwell, do you take Matt to be your lawfully wedded husband?" I paused "I do" "I know pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." I could feel all eyes on us but the most burning was Josh's. Matt started to lean in towards me farther and farther until our lips melted together. And there it was.

I was married to Matt Webb.
