People can walk into your life as quickly as they walk out, some come in to do good, and some change that into bad. But when you watch all of these people come and go, sometimes not here for long at all, it makes you realize that you were something to that person, someone they stopped to acknowledge, and maybe that makes life not so lonely. Because when you forget the consequences, the outcomes, the tears, and all of the times you were abandoned, it's proof that someone was once with you. You were able to be loved, and will be again, even if a million people come and go before you find the one who stays.
But maybe that's too hopeful, it's not paying attention to what actually happens with people who come into your life, and the sadness they can bring. But it's from the words of an optimist, a girl who watched person after person be hurt or bring hurt to someone else, and still one day saw herself living a life that wasn't so lonely, and was truly happy.
