People can walk into your life as quickly as they walk out, some come in to do good, and some change that into bad. But when you watch all of these people come and go, sometimes not here for long at all, it makes you realize that you were something to that person, someone they stopped to acknowledge, and maybe that makes life not so lonely. Because when you forget the consequences, the outcomes, the tears, and all of the times you were abandoned, it's proof that someone was once with you. You were able to be loved, and will be again, even if a million people come and go before you find the one who stays.
And the girl with the optimistic words had found the one who stayed. They'd grow old together, watch the sun rise and set a million times, the words 'I love you' forever on their tongues. And they'd do it happily, loving each-other constantly despite the changes, watching their world spin around them but glad to be along for the ride.
Surrounded and loved, never forgetting those they'd found along the way.
