It was a peaceful day at Hogwarts.
Ginny was worried because she'd just presented her divination exam and wasn't really sure her predictions were right, her ginger hair wandered around the castle looking for some sort of distraction. She had tried to get away from her all of them far too long and didn't knew where to go to be left alone with her thoughts.
That's when she remembered something,
Luna had told her about this secret place in the castle, how her friend discovered it, she didn't knew, but Ginny knew better than to ask.
"Could this be it?" She said to herself approaching an old door that she had never noticed before. She looked around to see if anyone was looking- thankfully no one- and carefully whispered "Alohomora", backing away a little.
The rusty door flew open revealing nothing more than a small room with a couple of old brooms. She knew she had found the place.
Quickly she fixed her robe and walked towards the dark room without hesitation. Inside there was no light and no windows, and she was sure the brooms weren't magical at all. Ginny brought her hand over to her pocket revealing some kind of notebook or diary to write everything that had happened there.
Grabbing her quill she began writing
Dear diary
Today was sort of especial. I found a new place where I can be myself and not worry about anyone looking at me weird. I'm sure Dean had the best of intentions when he told me we should breakup, but I'm not going to lie, it hurts.
Mom said that it's normal for me to feel anxious, but right now I'm trying to find peace at all costs.Ginny was writing peacefully getting her mind off everything while humming to a song Fred had shown her earlier that day.
She couldn't be more grateful for the quiet and peaceful place she had found.
Then everything was ruined by 2 pairs of eyes staring at her.
"Who are you?!!" She said grabbed her wand with fear.
Ginny could manage to tell that they were two boys and that they seemed very lost. Their eyes wandered around the place as if they were looking for something, but the girl couldn't figure out what exactly
"Er.. we can.. explain?" The blond spoke up looking at the other boy with worry. The shorter boy didn't answer and just managed to look at the girl with guilt.
He seemed very stressed by the situation, but still Ginny pointed her wand at them. She didn't know many defense spells, but they didn't have to know that.
"I said who are you!?" She yelled, this time making everyone in the room wince; at the same time she got up.
Neither of the boys answered and before Ginny could realize, they were gone.
. . .
"Are you sure?" A short boy with curly hair said looking at Ginny in complete shock. She had told Colin about that mysterious encounter and how they seemed utterly lost and scared.
"What did you say they looked like?"
She thought about it for a bit and realized they seemed somewhat... familiar. She remembered their faces.
Blonde platinum hair, pale skin, blue eyes..
Black hair, freckles, green eyes...
Nothing out of the ordinary there, she thought.
Maybe there was something she was missing.. something obvious and something-
"I GOT IT!" She yelled making the boy jump out of surprise. She turned her face staring with a grin.
How come she forgot this?! It was so clear!
"They were wearing slytherin cloaks!" She yelled making her friend raise her eyebrows."it must have been a prank or a bad joke..."
Ginny didn't give it a second thought. After all, Slytherins were known to be sneaky bastards who couldn't resist messing with a fourth year gryffindor, obviously.
...SCORPIUS POV
"Albus you're gonna get us caught" the blonde whispered as he tried his best to not step on the fabric below them.
Whatever had happened must be solved quick before anyone realized they didn't belong here.
"We were already caught by -mind you- my own mother" Albus sneered and grabbed his hago, pulling him over to a nearby door.
Although the school looked the same and the paintings surrounded them hadn't change a bit, the environment felt different, more... dangerous, in a way.
Quickly the boys arrived to the door and casting a simple alohomora allowed them to take off the cloak without revealing themselves.
"Oh my god" Albus whispered "I-It wasn't supposed to go-I mean- this entire thing- it all went wrong" the boy whispered with worry looking at his best friend as if he was asking for help, but Scorpius didn't answer and instead just paced around the room looking for any clues as to what year it was.
"It can be that long ago, Al" he said trying to calm his friend as he looked in between books and behind the table.
Finally he found what he was looking for placed right over a desk.
