My saving grace.

Last day in Melbourne.

Well, it was our last day here, so we decided to make the most of it.

At 10 am we left the hotel.

Went to the mall, shopped. Then went for bowling again.

After which at around 12 we went to the beach, we had lunch there and spent most our evening there.

We had an amazing time.

At around 6 we came back to the hotel in.

 We decided we would eat and stuff early because we were leaving at 8 in the morning.

So by 9 we ate and headed back to the rooms when I saw a gift shop and wanted to go see it, so I told the guys they could go back and i would meet them in the morning but Luke decided to stay with me.

Calum, Ashton and Michael gave us a look and laughed

"Very funny" said Luke

"Yes, yes goodnight" they said and left

When we reached we were both looking around when i saw these really cute rings with shells on the face of it. I showed them to Luke and moved ahead.

It was about 9:30 now, " Hey Luke, let's go"

"Yea, okay" he said smiling

We left by 8 which meant that by tomorrow afternoon we would reach Sydney and all this would end. I felt like crying but I held myself up.

Through the day we slept, cos we were so sleepy after these 5 days.

At night we were up just talking and laughing and singing

Then Calum asked, "Iliana what are you doing once we're back?"

"I'll stay at Quinns, till I can get a place for myself"

"You sure?" asked Ashton, concerned

"Yep"

"Well, you have our numbers so.." said Michael

"Yes,don't worry" I laughed

"And Lukes toooo" he teased

Luke threw a pillow at him. And we all just sat there laughing.

It was night.

The bus took it's tiny break again.

Just like the first night I stepped out and suddenly,

"No point in running away" said Luke

"Not after these amazing few days"

He came and sat beside me.

"You know what, Iliana?"

"Yea?"

"I'm gonna miss you"

"I'm gonna miss you too, Luke."

"Promise to stay in touch?"

"I promise" I said

He hugged me.

I thought i heard him say something but I might have imagined it.

It was morning. 

I really didn't wanna leave them now.

If just ten days got us so close what about a whole lifetime?

I knew we'd stay in touch but this was just different. Having them with me was just different.

Ashtons fun flirting and joking around. Michaels pranks. Calums consoling and.... Luke.

We reached. The bus stopped after following the directions I gave him to Quinn's house.

They all gave me really tight hugs and I started crying

"Stay in touch" said Ashton

"Call us, whenever" said Michael

"And please, stay safe" said Calum

"Yes, I will. I love you guys. Thank you for everything"

They hugged me again.

And now to say bye to Luke.

The guys figured something out in their head and told Luke that they'll wait inside.

"So.." he said

"So.." I siad

"This is it, I guess?"

"Unfortunetely, Luke, it is."

"I wish it wasn't" he said

"Me too"

"I'm gonna miss you tons, Hope"

"I know. I'm goona miss you too, Hemmings"

We hugged.

I felt like breaking down.

"Well, thankyou Luke, for everything you've done for me."

"Don't ever mention it, beautiful."

"I love you, Luke, thanks once again." I knew when I said it to him it was different.

I love you too, and call me whenever"

"I will"

"You take care"

"You too"

And I hugged him one last time, waved out to the guys and left.

That was it. It was all over.
