8. "Don't tell me you're fine, I can see the blood."
27. "If I could, I would kiss all of your scars away."

"I'm fine (Y/N)!"
"Don't tell me you're fine, I can see the blood." Yet another day, you have to fight with Snart just to make sure he's alright. "Now hold still." It was nothing terrible, just a few scrapes from our visit to Star City in 2046. It was horrible, a real Mad Max wasteland kinda of vibe. But Leonard and Mick may or may not have gotten into a small argument at the same time, so you knew you had to check up on Leonard.
"I really don't think this is necessary." Leonard sighed as he watched you wet a small rag with water.
"Shush." You wiped the rag gently across his cuts, careful not to hurt him. You then tossed the rag aside onto a small tray in the Medbay. "There. All done, you big crybaby." Leonard got up and stood in front of you, looking down into your eyes.
"Thank you." He smirked at you, and you suppressed the smile that wanted to come up.
"You're welcome. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go talk to Rip." You turn towards the door, but look back when Leonard interjects.
"About what?"
"Well, after we ran into Oliver and Sara was talking about her family, it got me thinking about mine. Just checking to see if I could pop in for a quick hello."
"Mind if I join you?"
"You want to come meet my family?"
"Well, why not? Anyone related to you must be some very interesting people." You look at him with squinted eyes, not knowing whether to take offense at his comment or not.
"Knock yourself out. Come on then snowman." You go out of the Medbay with Leonard and start walking towards the bridge to Rip's parlor. When you arrive, you see Rip in his chair, almost motionless, like he's deep in thought. "Knock, knock."
"Ah, Ms. (L/N), Mr. Snart. What can I do for you both?" Rip shook his head slightly before sitting up straight.
"Well, I was just wondering if I could go back to the present for a little bit. I miss my family and kinda wanted to just check on them and say hi. I haven't gotten to see them in weeks. We aren't really doing anything at the moment, so I was just double-checking if it was alright with you." Rip's face fell, and he looked down at the ground, wanting to avoid your gaze. It was like he wanted to say no.
"You may. But please come straight back, and don't take too long." Rip was quiet, still looking down when he spoke. You were confused but brushed it off since you were excited by him saying yes.
"Thank you! I promise I'll come right back!" You went down the steps of the parlor before noticing Leonard hadn't moved, and that he was staring at Rip. "You coming or what?"
"I'll meet you at the jump ship. Just give me a minute."
"Okay then..?" You go through the exit and make your way to the jump ship. Unbeknownst to the conversation between Rip and Leonard.
~Leonard's POV~
"What are you hiding Rip? What aren't you telling (Y/N)?" I watched Rip like a hawk, he was keeping something secret from (Y/N), and I needed to know what. Because it seems like it's something very bad.
"I can't say until after you two get back." He looked up at me finally, and I wanted to punch him in his little British face.
"Like hell you can't!" I started getting furious. I didn't want (Y/N) to get hurt, and that's what Rip was making this sound like. She means too much to me.
"I'm truly sorry Mr. Snart. And to (Y/N) as well. If she chooses to not to return to the ship, tell her that, please." If she chooses not to return?!
"You'll be lucky if I come back if what's about to happen is going to hurt her." I stabbed my finger into Rip's chest in a threatening manner before storming out of the parlor towards the jump ship. What the hell was he talking about? What's about to happen when we get to the present?
~3rd Person POV~
"What is taking him so long?" You leaned against the jump ship door while tapping your foot impatiently. But quickly stopped when Leonard came from around the corner. "Finally, what took you so long?" Leonard seemed angry, his face was screwed into a frown, and his steps were heavy. "Whoa, what happened Leonard?"
"Nothing, just Rip talking nonsense again."
"Oh, well alright then. Ready to go?" I hop in the jump ship and sit in the pilot's chair.
"Yeah."
~Timeskip~
"God, it's felt like forever. I feel bad for not coming sooner. What if they get mad for not coming sooner? I never gave a proper reason for my leaving. What if they don't want to see me? What if-..."
"Hey, hey, hey woah, calm down. Breathe." Leonard put his cold hands on your shoulders to help you relax. It helped you a lot, mostly because you were looking in his eyes. They always made you feel better, no matter what.
"Right. Right. Well, here goes." You reach out and knock on the door to your home. You stood for a few moments waiting for the door to open, but it never did. You then tried the doorbell, but still nothing. "That's weird. My family never leaves the house." Before you could turn to leave, Leonard knelt down at the doorway and started to pick the lock. "Leonard!?"
"Shh. I have a feeling."
"A feeling?"
"Just trust me." With that, Leonard managed to pick the lock of your front door and open it slightly to look inside. "The lights are off, it's quiet." Leonard opened the door slowly and it creaked open. He took a few steps in but then suddenly stopped.
"What is it?" You stepped into the doorway, trying to get a look at whatever's inside.
"Don't come in."
"What? No way! What's in there?" You get closer to Leonard, but he tries to push you back.
"(Y/N) you don't want to see!" He kept trying to lead you to the doorway, but you slid under his arm to go in and see more.
"This is my house! And what's the worst it could be-..."
