chapter 13

"Class is dismissed", my teacher dismissed us and I shot Harvey a signal and he immediately approached Haechan as I blended in with the crowd of students that were rushing to get out. "Shit"

I made my way through and made my way to the gym. I entered the empty gym and looked for a specific locker. I found it and quickly checked the lock.

"I know this escape route that I made for myself back then", Jaehyun said looking through the clothes rack. "Go to the gym and find the locker room and it'll have my initials. The code is your birthday. It'll have a lot of keys and find the one that's labelled backdoor gym and one named gym gate"

"Then what?", I questioned. He looked over at me as he responded. "Make sure to lock everything again and give the keys back to me if you use them. Don't worry, there's no security cameras there. They didn't notice that they're broken"

I entered the passcode and got the keys. I headed to the back of the gym and unlocked the door. It led me to the restricted area of the the back gym. I spotted the gate door and opened it, locking it afterwards.

"Why the fuck does Jaehyun know so many escape routes", I cursed as I walked around the other side of the gate to find myself in a neighborhood. I walked around, letting time pass by. I checked my phone to see that I've been walking for thirty minutes. "I guess I have to go back now"

I headed back, taking the same route but this time, I didn't put the keys back in the locker. I placed the keys in my pocket, then headed towards my next class. I hoped that if I was twenty minutes early for my next class, they wouldn't find me. I walked down the halls until I saw people starting to crowd this specific area.

"What's happening?", I muttered to myself as I walked closer to see the ruckus. I didn't want to get involved. I didn't want to risk myself being hurt. That was when a hand pulled me away from the scene. "You shouldn't go, it's the Ridin' members"

"Mark? How did you know?", I questioned as he shook his head. "They got mad after you escaped I think. They decided to relieve their stress by playing with some people who messed with their leader or member, I'm not sure"

"Damn, that ain't my problem now", I said, turning my back. "Let's go to—"

"Lee Felix, how does it feel now? I don't think you'll be able to come school for a few months after this"

Well, it's my problem now.

I look back at the crowd and Mark, then sighing. I went off and made my way through the crowd. I saw Felix, my partner for an important project, being beaten up. I saw Haechan pulling him by his collar. Jaemin was amused and Renjun was just watching them.

"Should I just do the 10,000 word essay by myself or save Felix and only write half?", I questioned myself and obviously chose the latter part. I stepped in. Yeah, biggest regret. "Look who decides to show up"

"Yeah, you should stop fucking beating my partner for my project because I am not doing that shit alone", I said bravely, but the three had laughed together. Where's Jeno? I could see Mark in the distance showing me a 'you fucked up' face, "Felix, let's go"

"Let's make a deal, meet me in the Ridin' club room for 10 minutes, then we'll let the guy go", Jaemin offered and I scoffed. I looked at Felix, the poor boy was terrified. "And if not?"

"Then you have to do that project by yourself, princess", Jaemin said and I rolled my eyes at him. "I'll decide when everyone isn't here"

Haechan let go of the boy and looked at everyone with a glare. The other two boys did the same. Everyone quickly went back inside their classroom even if there was 15 minutes left.

"Fine, I don't wanna do the shit alone", I accepted the offer and looked at Felix who felt sorry. "Run along, make sure you do 7,000 words. I helped you out already"

"T-Thank you", he stuttered and started to walk off. "Go to the clinic!"

They stared at me and rolled their eyes. I shrugged and started heading towards the Ridin' club room which was a minute away from where we were. I stood in front of the door and gestured them to open it. I simply kept my hands in my pocket, holding onto the two keys in one hand.

"You're bold", Haechan said as he pushed open the door to reveal Jeno sitting on the couch. He furrowed his eyebrows, looking at me. "Why is she here"

"What the fuck", I cursed as I felt someone push me inside the room, making me fall over. My knees and hands hit the floor, my hands opening by accident, letting the keys fall onto the floor. "Oh shit"

I went to grab them but a shoe covered it. I look up to see Renjun stepping on the two keys, making me unable go get them.

"Not so fast bitch", Renjun said and I stood up to face him. I was about to step on his foot so that I can get the keys back but Jaemin dragged me to the other side of the room. "Motherfucker, let go of me"

I saw Renjun take his foot off the keys and picked them up, observing them. He was shocked and looked at me, to the keys and back.

"She has backgate gym's key and the backdoor gym key", Renjun said as he showed the two keys to the other boys. Jeno raised his eyebrow, standing up and approaching Renjun to take a better look. "How did you get these? There's only one extra key"

"It's a secret", I mumbled.

"It's not your time to investigate her, I need to talk to her", Jaemin said, reminding everyone.

Well, I'm going to get scolded by Jaehyun when I get home.
