Two years after Lisa learnt what a war was, the mysterious boy came to her house and delivered The Letter. This is exactly what the letter said:
Dear Nate and Meghan Winters,
We have been puzzled by the disappearance of Jack Winters, and after a good period of time spent searching for (him/her) him, we regret that we will have to pronounce (him/her)him dead.
We hope you understand that we cannot be more devastated, as (he/she) he was an irreplaceable addition to our ranks.
