Chapter 9

Jennie's Pov

As planned we headed to a restaurant for the dinner with the whole crew. I sat, with the boys on either side of a huge rectangle table leaving the crew on other tables around us covering the whole restaurant. Although Seohyun was hesitant I dragged her from the staff table to our table and made her sit with us and the boys also didn't restrict me doing it.

"I don't see any other outsider... is this restaurant that bad?" I asked them in low voice on noticing the whole restaurant filled by us and the crew.

"We rented the restaurant to avoid commotion", namjoon replied holding back his laughter while the rest chuckled on. I covered up my face with the menu in embarrassment.

"so Jennie how did you meet jin Hyung and why did you help him? Spill us some beans cause he hasn't revealed much about it" hobi complained throwing some dark gaze at jin.

"What kind of a question is this... she must have been blown off by my handsome face at the very first sight, stop making her embarrass", he boasted off

"Absolutely not!!" I agitated offended by his reply

"in fact when I met him for the first time he looked too pale and weak as if not eaten for days moreover he held up my hands and pleaded to me with teary eyes for shelter, pitying his situation I decided to help him out-", I scoffed off, adding spices to the story just to tease him back

"When did I plead?? I just asked out"

"I wasn't blown off by your beauty either"

"is it? So who was the one that claimed me to be her boyfriend, grabbed my hand, dragged me along and ran at the very first meet?" he gabbled

"I did that to save you, even though you are a stranger I Saved your life but you are so mean"

"who saved who... I was the one who saved you from those boys"

"at least I kicked him but you hid behind the walls with those damn phone"

"huh! Says the one who slapped me for fighting out earlier", he retorted

"I apologized for it and even let you to slap me back but you are the one hugged me instead"

Holy crap! What kind of confession did we make now!!

On hearing us the boys were taken aback in shock for a moment, hobi even spat his drink on jimin who was sitting facing him. Soon they started shooting questions on us all at a time

Jimin: "Did you call hyung your BOYFRIEND?"

Namjoon: "you Saved him from what??"

Hobi: "you Kicked...?"

Jungkook: "hyung did she SLAP you? Why did she?";

Tae: "did you HUG her?"

Yoongi: "are you guys Dating?"

"Absolutely not!!", we shouted out in union at yoongi grabbing everyone's attention. thank god there isn't any outsiders or else we might have landed in some trouble. After much bickering around we finally told them the events occurred without exaggerating much.

Soon the ambiance at the table calmed down. Now with the food arrived everyone started chewing the delicious food that was served. While we were all most done with the food tae asked me out of nowhere, "Your neckpiece looks great where you bought it?" pointing at it.

"I inherited it, it was designed by my father for mom. He gifted it to her when he confessed his feelings for her", I handed out the necklace to tae for him to look it closer
