Chapter 25

Jin's Pov

As we walk back to the car getting off from the ride, sejin hyung came running towards me, before I could ask what happened he dragged me aside from the rest and showed me an article about the recent blast.

"When Jennie's uncle was on the way to prison they met with an accident and the car blasted off", sejin spoke out

"did they found his body?"

"no, police are searching for him" "although the chances for his survival in the accident is less still we should stay alert for a while", sejin warned me

"does anyone else know about it already?"

"no, I don't think so"

"let it remain a secret between us"

"What secret? Why can't we know?", Jennie asked walking towards us

"Since when you are here?", sejin panicked out

"so you guys are planning something without me, huh", she glared at me

"yah! if you keep on clinging to me how can I plan surprises", I lied and diverted the topic. With that, she shrugged off and didn't question us any further.

For the past three days, I kept Jennie aside me and guarded her without her knowledge. Sejin also tightened the security and kept the secret from others.

Now as per the schedule we are at the company for a photoshoot. As each of us takes turns in getting an individual portrait, I noticed Yeonjun walk up to Jennie who is now all indulged in work. When Jennie hugged Yeonjun right before me, I couldn't hold back anymore and approached them in swift.

Jennie's pov

When I was busy getting jk's clothes fixed, I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to notice it to be Yeonjun.

"oh Yeonjun ah, how are you? Where have you been all these days?" "Seems like someone remembered me finally, huh"

"I got pretty busy, you know how hard it is being a trainee right" "leave that I am here to give you a copy of our album", Yeonjun handed me a rough copy of his debut album

"wow! really, congrats!!", I hugged him in joy

"uh, excuse me... I am still here, miss yu yan aka Jennie", jin spoke out in stern voice making us flinch and break the hug.

"yu yan? Oh yeah, that's your real name right? I heard it from staffs-" before Yeonjun could complete jin cut him off

"and that means by now you might have also heard the fact that we are dating"

"wasn't that a rumor?"

"no, it true and she is mine, get your eyes off from her", jin spoke in a swift leaving us dumbfounded

I smacked jin's shoulder and glared at him, embarrassed by his overprotective act in front of Yeonjun who is now chuckling at us.

"Don't mind him he is always like that and about the dating part, please kept it secret"

"it's okay, don't worry about that", Yeonjun giggled and signed a mouth seal

Then after a short conversation, Yeonjun took his leave.

Done with the work I walked back to the dressing room where I have left Yeonjun's album on the desk. Following me jin too entered the dressing room on finishing his part and with that, the staff walked away from the room one by one leaving us alone. I smirked and did not spare him a glance well aware that its jin behind it.
