Chapter 27

Jin's pov

After a short bicker session, all of us parted ways and started getting ready for the big day ahead.

"is everyone ready?", as namjoon call out jimin descended downstairs followed by Jennie shouting for us to wait

"jennie, why are wearing staff uniform, aren't you on off duty today?", I asked Jennie noticing her in the uniform.

"With the uniform on I could be by your side so that we could-"

"Whoa! That's so lovely", jimin squealed

"Couple goals", tae winked at me

"Liar, I know you are doing this because of the dream", I scoffed at her being well aware of the fact that she never plays around when I am in the middle of work and that too when media is present.

"but jin, what if-"

"With so many securities around me nothing will happen, I can assure you that", I pulled her on to a hug and comforted her.

"at least let me stay by your side", she mumbled against my chest

"fine, just accompany us but don't indulge in any kind of work and hurt your legs", I gave in to her stubbornness and took her with us to the venue of the press conference.

Author's pov

While Jennie glued to jin, Seohyun distanced herself from namjoon. Although both did it in fear the reasons behind it were different. Just like every day since confession Seohyun directed namjoon to her assistant for makeup and walked in the opposite direction ignoring him purposefully. As she walked away in haste she banged her leg in a nearby desk before stepping out.

"look before you walk!", namjoon yelled at her and asked her assistant to bring up the first aid

"Stop running away, let me at least do the first aid", namjoon added and treated her himself

"I can manage, just get back to-", Seohyun replied back coldly dusting off her pants instead of thanking him

"just by running away and denying the truth, do you think its goanna solve the problems?"

"you were right, but-"

"Don't tell me that you are doing all this, just because I am an idol"

"You know it well that we can't be spotted together outside", Seohyun eyed at the people around them but namjoon was far away from the state of noticing her small signals

"I know dating an idol is not a joke but still we can sort things together"

"how about we take things slow, I don't want to jump straight away into PDA, just because we confessed each other", Seohyun spoke out and walked away not sparing him a glance

As Seohyun walks away, just then namjoon sparks up on recalling her words and runs after her.

"wait, what do you mean by that? Does that mean-", namjoon asked her in disbelief but before he could finish Seohyun shut him off by placing her palm over his mouth

"yah! joonie stop shouting people might hear you", Seohyun hissed

"joonie?"

"ah about that-"

"I like it, from now on, call me the same", he said looking straight into her eyes making her dumbfound

"love you too", he kissed her on cheeks all of a sudden and ran back inside, while Seohyun froze on her tracks still not out from the shock
