Chapter 26

Jin's pov

As we talk about Jennie's uncle case, Jennie walked in grabbing our attention

"So is this the reason for the increase of security and cancellation of my trip back to China", she confronted

"Jennie I think you have misheard-"

"enough jin, stop fooling me around, I happened to find out everything", she showed me the black file

"Jennie-", before I could give an explanation she threw herself upon me and hugged tight.

"I just wanted you to be at ease finally free from all the worries", I spoke as I rub her back in a comfort

"when you are here taking up all the burden to yourself, what should I be happy for?", she asked breaking the hug with tear filled eyes

"you were never a burden to me", I gently stroked her hair

"saranghae jin", she buried herself on to my chest while I lightly pecked on her head

"And from now on, no matter what, dare not lie to me again", she added with a glare looking up to me

"fine", I chuckled and pulled her back

Jennie's Pov

As jin and myself walk out of the studio holding each other hands and chuckling at each other, a man drove fast towards us in motor cycle more like a hit and run but then stopped right before us and pointed a gun, before I could understand what's happening around he shot a bullet in my direction but jin took the bullet guarding me.

Jin! No! you can't leave me alone!

Shouting loud I woke up from my bed sweating hard. Although my brain knew it to be a dream and jin is safe, my heart raced just by the thought of him getting shot. I immediately walked upto his room, checked upon him, and heaved a sigh on witnessing him sleeping peacefully. Walking up to him I sat down beside him and took my time in admiring him with still many thoughts running on my mind.

After staying by his side for few minutes and letting my mind calm down I turned around to walk back in silence but then before I could walk away jin grabbed hold of my hand

"aren't you asleep?"

"I should be the one asking you that aren't you asleep? Why are you here at midnight?", he asked straightening up himself.

"you had a bad dream, right?", he asked in a go on witnessing me stammering to answer

"Are you a mind reader or what?"

"pabo(idiot), you don't have to be a mind reader for such things, I can tell what you feel just by your face", he chuckled pulling me on a back hug

"if you stay by my side like this always, nothing will happen", he added with a peck on my shoulder

I wish your words come true and not the dream

"yah! stop thinking about it, this is why I lied to you earlier", he frowned

"no, I am not", I lied

"I don't think you will sleep if I let you sleep alone in your room"

"So what's your conclusion? Are you asking me to sleep with you, huh?", I asked wiggling my eyebrows

"well, I kind of-", he murmured loud enough for me to hear

"Okay then I will sleep with you", I immediately jumped into the bed and positioned up myself next to him.

"I was...I was just joking-", he laughed out nervously

"But I wasn't"

"how do you have the nerve to sleep next to a hot-blooded handsome man?"

"I don't see any HOT blooded HanDSoMe Man aside me? is he visible to you?", I stressed onto the words specifically denying his god damn visual.

"oh, is it huh? Then let me show you", he came closer blocking my way out. Just as close my eyes in response, "what were expecting miss-", he started tickling hard making me roll all over the bed.

amidst of cuddling and laughter, both of us dozed off sleeping next to each other.

As sun rays penetrate through the windows, I woke up disturbed by it. just like every day I buried my head onto the pillow hiding from the bright light but then gawked on realization as it turned out to be jin's chest.

Both of us were lying next to each other with his arm draped over my waist and mine over his bare chest. I held my palm over his head blocking the sunrays not wanting them to disturb his sleep.

When I was busy drooling over the handsome man sleeping beneath me, the boys interrupted us with a loud bang sound outside, and with that jin's peaceful sleep got disturbed. As he shifted around in half-sleep, I immediately went back to my position pretending to be asleep before he is completely awake.

Jin's pov

I woke up to loud noise and witnessed Jennie sleeping on my arms with her palms in clench just like a baby. Smiling to myself I planted a kiss on her forehead wishing her a good morning. With the kiss soon her cheeks turned red and her lips curved in a smile, good enough for me to notice that she isn't asleep. Deciding to tease her a bit, I pretended to be on a phone call with her uncle Francis,

"oh! uncle, how are you? How is everyone?" "...she is still not awake, no she is not in her room right now she is sleeping next to me, last night she actually slept over-", before I could finish she woke up with a jolt and snatched the phone away from me

"uncle he is just kidding, no such thing happened", she gibbered on haste but then stopped as she didn't hear any voice on the other end. I rolled on from the bed to the floor laughing hard at her flustered face.

"yah! what was that? You scared me to death!", she glared and hit me with the pillow

"you should have seen your face before", I managed to speak out amidst laughter

"Why did you pretend to be on a call?"

"Why did you pretend to be asleep?"

"well, I was just curious what you do when I am asleep", she curled her fingers and pouted

"I thought just like me you would... but instead, you kissed on my forehead", she added

"what do you mean by just like me? what do you do when I sleep? don't tell me that you-", I gawked in disbelief and covered my chest in defense. Before I could yell further she covered up my mouth.

"yah! stop it jin, you sound like I abused you", she hit me hard

"Who knows you might have?"

"huh?"

As we bicker on namjoon barged into the room calling up for me

"jin Hyung-" "oh, Jennie you are here too?" "by chance do any one of you know Where is Yoongi?", namjoon questioned us. As he inquired about his whereabouts, just then Yoongi barged in.

"I slept at the studio itself", Yoongi replied him from his back and entered the room to grab on his stuff

"But, why? and why are grabbing your things now? are you going to shift somewhere?", namjoon asked him

"cause I was kicked out of my room last night and don't want that to happen again"

"yah! When did we kick you out?" "yah! Yoongi! -", I yelled as he walked off
