Jin's pov

It was the eve of MAMA awards and we were in our dressing rooms getting ready for the performance.

"Jimin, is the cake ready?", I asked Jimin gaining his attention

"huh"

"you know its chocolate or nothing, right?"

"ah, is it about the birthday cake? Hyung, but when we are in overseas-"

"Make it look colorful, I will be looking forward to it", with that I cut him off and walked towards hobi

"Jin Hyung here is your hat, you got to wear that like promised", hobi handed me a pink birthday hat with fluffy candles on it

"I know, I know" "hold it for now", I handed the hat back to one of the staff

"I will be expecting a surprise party at 12, don't disappoint your hyung, huh", I informed hobi and sat beside him for the final touch up

"I'll just come in and say, 'surprise!'", he gawked

"then bring everyone to my vlive as a surprise"

"Hyung, let us plan your surprise, at least for once, huh", jk frowned walking towards us

"no matter whose birthday it is, we are the ones to get surprised, not jin Hyung", hobi commented as I planned out my own birthday surprise

We don't usually plan a surprise for each and every birthday but after Jennie crossed our life now it has become a habit of us. although now Jennie isn't by my side now, I convince my heart by following up some of her traits like the birthday surprises

After the performance, we went back to our respective rooms at the hotel. Being all sweaty and completely exhausted from our fierce performance, I literally dragged myself to the washroom to wash up myself

After a hot shower bath as I walk out in a bathrobe, I noticed a girl dressed in all white staring at the sky through the window facing her back towards me. Actually, I should have either screamed or yelled for her to barge into my room instead i walked closer towards her in silence as she resembled more of Jennie.

Is that her? or have I gone insane in love and started imagining things...ah

As I walk closer, she turned around in a swift and shouted out 'happy birthday' making me cry out in surprise or to be more precise in fright

Yes, it was Jennie as I expected she called off everything and traveled all the way here to japan just to spend the night with me. she is now an independent businesswoman who is all hale and healthy free from threats. Although the incident happened almost three years back still it feels like just a day before.

****flashback****

"I I-I lo-ve y-you, jin..", with those last words Jennie closed her eyes.

"no! you can't leave me alone! Please stay awake" "Jennie! Jennie!", I called her name, again and again, clutching her to my chest, crying hard.

As I cry over her still body the members parted me away from her for the doctors to proceed on with defibrillation and chest compressions. When she showed no sign of hope I cried hard falling on my knees begging for her to wake up.

"jin", I heard a week voice followed by a gasp and it was Jennie she is back alive. I immediately got up on my knees wiping the tears off my face

"Is she out of danger now?", I asked the doctor impatiently turning my attention towards her
