The day of their flight finally arrived. Eddy haven't got enough sleep the night before cuz there were tons of emotions flowing in his poor mind. He was excited about the trip of course, but also worry about his performance with Brett. Even though they had practiced 40 hours a day in the past week, he still much concerned.
But it wasn't what bother him the most.

He biggest worry was about the flight.

Fuck, Eddy. You had travelled around with Brett for the world tour! You took countless flights. How on earth you are worrying about this right now! Eddy thought to himself while cutting his toast angrily. This is just ridiculous. Shouldn't have read those stupid news.

Brett looked at him curiously, "Bro, are you ok?" "Yeah, I just didn't get enough sleep last night." Eddy didn't want his friend find out his stupid condition.

"Don't worry about that, it's a long trip, you got almost 19 hours to sleep." Brett tried to light up his best friend's mood.

Eddy forced a smile. Mentioning how long he would be trapped in that giant coffin flying across the continents definitely won't help at all. "Well, fair enough." He stood up and head to the bathroom, he needed to calm down.

"It's not a big deal! You got this Eddy." Eddy said to himself in the mirror. "You are the Naruto, you got this!" He closed his eyes and posed the symbolic Naruto gesture.

"Naruto what?"

Eddy almost pee his pants when he suddenly heard Brett's voice. He sharply opened his eyes and saw Brett's slyly smile appeared in the other half of the mirror. "BRO YOU SCARED ME!" Eddy was so embarrassed and shocked at the same time. He just wanted to find a hole and disappear.

"Be quick, we should head to the airport. The morning traffic will be ugly unless you could carry all our stuff and teleport us to the airport, Naruto." Brett smirked as he patted on Eddy's shoulder whose face was already red like a tomato.

When they finally got into the car and drove out of their neighborhood, Eddy realized something was wrong.
Crape, not again.

He forgot his violin in their doorway.

"Bro, I know you gonna tease me nonstop for this, but I forgot my violin again." Eddy sighed and hoped his friend would not be annoyed. Brett almost chocked, meanwhile he could saw thousands of emotions on Eddy's face. Luckily Eddy realized it early this time, they not even entered the highway.

"Seriously?" Brett tried so hard not to laughed as he made a U turn. Believe it or not, Eddy felt less nervous about the flight while he was laughing himself with Brett.

They finally arrived at the airport after rushing back home to get Eddy's violin. Eddy could feel his nerves all over again after they finished the security check.
As soon as they got on the plane, his heart was pounding out of his chest.

What's the rhythm? 15 beat a second?
Oh well I have a sacrilegious heart.
Eddy tried to joke inside his own mind. He was happy to find out that he got the window seat. Watching clouds might help him to relax.

Half of their flight Eddy managed to distract himself and watched some movies, while Brett was sleeping next to him. After the stewardess turned off the lights in the cabin, Eddy decided to take a nap as well.

He was fully awake when the plane suddenly started jolting. He hoped it would stop in a few minutes, but it seemed it was getting more and more fiercely. Those stupid air-crush news he read before started hunting him. Shit.
The airhostess's gentle voice broadcasted through the radio: "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are experiencing some turbulence, please return to your seat and fasten your seat belt. Thank you."

Eddy held his life on his seat's armrest. He grabbed the armrest so hard that he thought he might would have broken it.
Eddy was having this panic attack, but he did not want to wake Brett up.

He started feeling he couldn't breathe anymore. He couldn't even make any noise. His mind went blank and all he could hear is the A in his ear.
Good timing, perfect pitch. The plane was still trembling, Eddy felt he was hopeless.

In the dark,
Brett's warm hand covered Eddy's.

Eddy suddenly could breathe again, he turned to look at Brett. Brett was still closing his eyes, as if he was still asleep.

Eddy opened his mouth wanted to say something, but found his voice was still lost. This time, Brett even locked their hands together just like he knew by heart that this could comfort Eddy.

Eddy's strained nerves slowly relaxed. Brett's hand seemed to have magic to calm him down. The presence of Brett next to him made him relieved. He suddenly felt a strong sense of sleepiness come over him.

The next second he fell asleep, with their hands still tightly locked with each other.
