HAPPY ENDINGS?

[Hello, because I have neglected this story, I thought I would give ya another little update! Enjoy 😊]

kai:
It's dark, not total darkness there is a slight green glow. I am sat throwing a rock agaiant the wall of my small cell, the faint drippign of a pipe ecohs through the tight passages between cells. I press the back of my head agaitn the cold wall of the stone cell. "oh Jin im so sorry, this wasnt how I expected this to go" i sigh to myself, cloisng my eyes, visiosns of her rush across my eyes.

"ALL PRISONERS TO THE YARD" a loud voice shouts down the corridor adn all of the cell dorrs open, I join an orderly line to the yard, when we are all out, I see a line of guards with rock pellets facing us. I know where this is going, I dodge out of the way as one of the rocks hurtles towards me. "prisoner 2301,you don't move when the pelets are beign pelted at you" the guard opposite me yells. What i think, if i dont move i will be knocked out or even worse.
As I am thinking, this another pellet hurtles towards me, I swiftly dodge out of the way. I see the anger rise in the gurads eyes, he stops striding across the dusty couryard towards me i stand and look him directly in his eyes, without hesitation he puts a earth prison around me. "take him to his cell" two guards take my arms, "oh and make sure he has no food tonight." I glare at him, as i am dragged back too my cell. This time making no attempt to escape, they throw me into the small cell, slamming the door behind me. picking up the nearest stone, I lob it at the meantl door. I sigh and sink back onto the metal frame bed.
I try and sleep, my dreams only filled with her.

*******
Jinora:

I lay on my bed, staring at the celling, I have two decisions, run or stay. My door rattles open.

"Jinora, i have brought you some food" my mother says, coming to sit on the bed, i sit up, instanly hugging her.

"This is so unfair" i sob she gently strokes my hair.

"you know, your father isnt always correct" she says quietly. I dry my eye and stare at her. "what do you mean mother" i ask. "The king is not harmed in any way, and so kai isnt technically not criminal, and he also, wasn't working alone" she says.

"I don't understand" she smiles,

"It means, we are going to the prison, first light and ordering them to free you boyfriend." I beam at her.

"i love you!" i squeal hugging her, she laughs.

"don't let your father know. we will leave before he is awake" she says I nod.

******* THE NEXT DAY*******
kai:
"you have an audience with the king" one of the guards announces. i groggly get up from laying on the bed. I'm lead down the corridor toward the throne room.
As we enter I see that the king is talkig too two people, as i enter further into the room, they turn round. "Jinora" I say , I can feel tears in my eyes, she covers her mouth but still smiling.

"kai" king wo says, I look over at him. "it has been brought to my attention that out of all the people involved, you had the least to do with the situation. Because of that" he looks over at jinora and Pemma. "I have been persuaded to release you." I smile as wide as I ever have!
"On one condition....." I glance at him cautious. "I can be invited to the wedding!" He screes, I roll my eyes.
"Of course sir." I smile, well this was not how I expected this to go!!
The chains around my wrists are released, I rush straight over to jinora, swinging her around in a hug. "Oooh I love you!! Thank you so much!!" I praise, She smiles kissing me.
"Don't thank me, my mother has a way with words" she smiles I look over at pemma, "thank you so much pemma" I say bowing in front of her.
"Don't celebrate too soon Kai, my husband is still unaware" I gulp. "So don't hold your breath, we know he isn't very keen of this partnership" she advises.
********Back home********
Jinora:
We enter the house, my hand firmly gripping kai's hand.
"Pemma where an earth have you been? I woke and you weren't....."
my fathers eyes meet kai's, he glares at the three of us, "will some one please explain". Mother steps forward placing her hand on fathers chest, "tenzin you prejudged Kai, he did not have as bigger part than you first thought." She explains.
His eyes are still on us, I squeeze kai's hand.
My father comes right up to kai's face,  looking him right in the eyes , "you may have got away from the law, but not from me, I still see you for what you are. What you have always been.....a bandit." He growls at him Kai looks scared out of his skin.

**********time skip**********
Kai:
All is well, despite my father in laws threat! I swear he is out to get me.
I am sat in the courtyard with jinora, she insisted on Star gazing, I'm not complaining, as for me it's turned into jinora gazing. She stirs and looks at me cuddling into me. "I love you" she says, I smile kissing the top of her head, this is a perfect moment i don't want it to end.
Just as I thing that, "Kai" I turn and and met with "tenzin" I stand from my position, "can I talk to you?" He asks. I look down at jinora she smiles , I crouch kissing her cheek "see you later love" and follow tenzin down the dimly lit corridors.
He says nothing, until we are in a small room which I have never seen before. We enter and I see it is sparsely decorated, there is a desk and two chairs. It  feels like a school office, my skin crawls, "Sit" he orders, I do as I'm instructed. He waders over to the desk, pouring me some tea, I take it he then goes to sitting in the chair opposite. I'm confused, so I politely take a sip of the tea.

"May I ask what it is you want to talk about?".
"You are aware I'm not in favour to you marrying my daughter, and seen as I couldn't banish you to prison, I guess this is the next best thing"
I look at him in confusion then I feel my head getting light.
"Tenzin, what is this tea?" He doesn't reply, walking over to me, my vision blurred I can't make him out.
"I'll tell her you changed you mind" he coldly says getting up walking away.
"No" I say my voice week, I get up trying to follow him, immediately falling. I see the shadow of him walk out the door, "Jinora!" I weakly shout as my vision plunges into darkness.
