Cammies POV

      

           The gala was tonight. Zach seemed fine as usual but i was still a bit shaken from what had happened.

         "You look fantastic." Zach said as he zipped up my dress.

          "You're looking pretty sharp yourself." I said to him as i straightened his tie. He just smiled and kissed me on the cheek.

       "Let go." He whispered in my ear and grabbed my hand.

      I stood up and we walked out of our hotel room to the banquet hall. A normal person might have seen a formal ball, but i only saw a bunch or criminals in suits. Zach turned me to face him and we started dancing. 

       "Two on your six nd they've got guns." I whispered in Zach's ear.

       "Yea. I'm looking around and the guys we were supposed to make our trade with aren't here."

         "You think it's a set up?" I asked him.

         "Yea. Let's get outta here our cover must have been blown."

          "By who?"

          "Probably him." Zach said as we turned to walk out the door. He looked at that cute nurse we had seen in the hospital. We tried to avoid eye contact but i heard part of the conversation and he was speaking in russian. Zach must have heard it too bc he started walking faster. He held my hand. We were almost to the door when...

      "Where are you two going? You are the guest of honor." One man said putting his hand on my shoulder and Zach's shoulder. "Come on. The party just started at least stay through dinner." He led us back into the Lions den. Zach just smiled.

      "Actually as sad as it may be we need to run. My mum was just air lifted to the hospital bc of a major car crash." Zach said pulling away.

        "I thought you killed your mother? Didn't you Zachary Goode?"

       "That's not my name."

       "Oh yes it is. Now why don't you to come with me." He said holding a gun to us and ushering us towards the back ally.
