Zach's POV

  

        There she was the love of my life being dragged to her death. I used ever ounce if strength I had. Why wasn't she fighting back. But then I realized why she wasn't fighting back. Because she needed to die. What am I saying. She needed to be destroyed once and for all. She has to die. So I ran to the person who was trying to kill her in the first place. I was going to help him. But then I realized it was Grant I knew he would do the right thing by killing her. I grabbed her other arm and started taking her down to the lake. "Zach what are you doing?" She asked me.

     "What I have to do." I said coldly and truthfully.

Cammies POV

      "Zach no!" I yelled. "Listen to me they injected you with something."

       "I know they did. It helped me see the truth." He said blindly.

       "Zach please it is me Cammie. Your wife.  Please Zach listen to me." I yelled sobbing now.

         "He can't hear you. Well he can but he only thinks what I want him to think. Nothing more or less. My little brother is like a mindless drone." Ryan said as he came near me.

        "Who even does that. That is so terminater not the 21st century." I said scoffingly. I was at the base of the lake.

        "I do. Now kill her." He said with a chuckle. Zach and Grant dunked me under water holding me there. But I got away and swam. I got out of the lake. Zach and Grant pit their fists up.

       "I'm not gonna fight either of you." I yelled. "Please Zach i love you. Remember me. I am the girl you met in our Softmore year. Grant you are married to my best friend. She loves you and I do but in a friend way. Please both of you. Remember me!" I yelled again. But I kept my promise I wasn't gonna fight them. Grant threw the first punch. I didn't even bother ducking. Then Zach punched me in the gut. "Ugh!" I moaned. That killed. "Zach it's me Cammie. I'm the Chameleon."

       "Shocker Chameleons are animals and so r u." That kinda hurt.

       "That is actually the first time i got that one." I said truthfully.  He swung again and it hit me in the face for the second time. "Zach please stop." I begged b early above a whisper.  I suddenly heard a car pull up in out drive way and i heard two gun shots. Joe.

       "Zach what the hell are you doing?!" He yelled running to my side. Zach tried to punch me again. I was still not going to block it but this time Joe did. Joe punched Grant in the face.

        "No!" I screamed. "Joe Ryan did this he injected something to them. You can't hurt them!" I yelled tugging ar his arm.

         "But i can't let them hurt you!" He shouted back.

          "Do you have any nicotine patches?"

          "Yes." So we both slapped one on each face of the boys in front of us. We loaded them into our car and got them over to Liz's lab for inspection and detoxification.
