                          Chapter 6

             Today we all decided to take a walk into town. Zach, Grant, and Jonas had to veer off for a second from us. Bex and Liz needed to run to the restroom. So I was alone.

          "Watch where you're going." I said as a stranger ran into me. The familiar face stared at me and reached out a hand to help me up.

          "My bad." The stranger said. Suddenly I recognized him. It was Dillion. "I usually see pretty girls, but I guess I'm a bit distracted." Was Dillion flirting with me? Eww!

           "Well just mind your own next time." I said hoping he wouldn't recognize me. I turned to walk away when he grabbed my arm.

           "Wait a minute. I know you. Your the one that lied to Josh. Cammie!" He said. "Wow! You got hot! What's a hot chick like you doin here after high school and college?"

          "Umm thanks, but I have to go." I said, he blocked my path. I was still undercover as rich helpless quiet girl.

          "What your boyfriend isn't here to protect you? Awwww. Little Cameron is all alone." Dillion had become no less of a jerk. I was this close to knocking his 2 front teeth out.

          "I have to go... Please excuse me." I said once again trying to look all innocent. BuT he knocked my ice coffee out of my hand. "Well that was rude." I heard myself say.

         "Oh, did they tell you that at manner school. Haha!" He was the biggest jerk I had ever met in my life. But I kept mouth shut.

          "Hey Cam, is there a problem?" Zach had come up behind me, pushing me behind him. I held his arm like a helpless child.

          "Yeah there is." Dillion started. "Your little prep brat here is invading our town." I started to push at Zach. Hoping he would let me at Dillion, but not to my surprise he didnt.

          "Cammie is not a brat." I knew that tone in Zach's voice. He wasn't joking around he was dead serious. That was dangerous, because the person he was dead serious with, usually ended up dead.

          "Yes she is." Dillion was in for it now. Suddenly Zach's arm was out of my grasp and I was trying to break up the fight.

         "Stop it!" I yelled. "Both of you." I finally pulled Zach off of Dillion but then, and I knew it was coming but Cammie Morgan couldn't dodge a hit, I was struck in the face. It didn't hurt at all but I had to act like it did. I fell on the ground. Dillion's eyes widened. He immediately got up and ran away.

         "Cam!" Zach yelled. "Are you okay?"

        "Is Dillion gone?"

         "Yeah. That little..." I cut him off.

    

         "Than yeah I'm fine." I just had to milk it till Dillion was gone. "I must say he hits like a girl."

          "Not the girls I know." Zach said. I rememberd when he first said that to me.

          We went back to the school and this time we didn't have to sneak in. Joe was waiting at the front door for us. We all walked in. Each couple was holding hands.  But Joe stopped Zach and I.

            "Can I speak to Zach for a moment please?" Joe asked me.

            "Sure." I said I patted Zach on the back and walked inside. "Liz, Bex!" I called for them, and only them. "I need your help!" They both ran to me. "We have a spy girls mission. I planted a listening device on Zach... Liz I need you to connect me."
