Lacheana rushed back towards the dwarves only to find out that she was left behind. Why? Why am I the one always left behind? Lacheana trudged in the way she thought the dwarves went. She eventually got out of the woods and onto a huge field with a house in the distance.
And a very irritated bear...
Lacheana stopped in her tracks while her red eyes went wide for a second before her serious face returned. She sheathed her sword before taking off her helmet and gloves. The black bear ran towards her but stopped when they were very close to each other. The bear sniffed Lacheana before nudging her cheek gently with his cold nose. Lacheana ran her hand through his fur and picked out some leaves that she found. The bear then ran past her and into the woods. Lacheana gathered her helmet along her gloves and continued her way to the house, feeling safer knowing that Beorn was watching over her.
Lacheana knocked on the door. Nobody opened the door but she heard muffled voices. She knocked again but louder. Still no answer. She then slammed her foot against the door. "He is back!" a scared voice came from the other side of the door. Lacheana rolled her eyes and stuck her sword through the crack of the door for proof that it was her.
"You fools! On the other side is Lacheana. Open the door!" Gandalf's voice echoed. A mere second later the door opened and Lacheana slipped in. "How did you get past the beast?" Bofur asked curiously. Beast? Lacheana burrowed her brow at the sweet Beorn called beast but then looked at Gandalf for aid. "Our dear Lacheana and Beorn have been friends for a long time. She has been the only one to dame the bear so far." Gandalf explained.
"Now get some sleep, all of you. You'll be safe here tonight." Gandalf spoke and whispered only so quietly that Lacheana heard: "I hope." Lacheana frowned but helped the dwarves settle in. She turned to Gandalf and pointed on the bedroom's door. It was time for her deep sleep. Gandalf nodded.
"I hope to see you before we reach Erebor, my lady Lacheana." he said. Lacheana nodded and went to Beorn's bedroom. She took off her armour and put it in the corner of the room. She stood next to the bed in her off-white linen shirt and black pants letting her braid lose and gently combing through it with her hands. She then layed down in Beorn's bed and fell into asleep.
She woke up to a very warm bed. Turning she saw that Beorn was sleeping next to her. She quietly got out of the bed and put on her armour. She then rushed outside and summoned her horse. After mounting it she rode across the field until she reached the forest. The cursed and corrupted feeling filled Lacheana's mind. She gently caressed her horse's neck and rode forward keeping her eyes on the path so she wouldn't lose it.
"Who is there?" a voice shouted towards her. She rode closer and dismounted when she saw big wooden gates and two guards. She walked closer and took off her helmet. "My apologies, lady Lacheana. We weren't expecting your arrival. Haven't seen your face here for over two thousand years." the guard spoke.
Lacheana approached the gate when a blonde haired elf, wearing a green tunic came into her field of view, someone she hadn't seen there before. He hadn't noticed her when he ordered the guards to shut the gate. "Man os Tauriel?(:What about Tauriel?)" the guard asked. The fair elf stopped and asked: "Man os sen?(:What about her?)" "Edevin eb enedhor na gû a megil. En ú-nandollen.(:She went into the forest armed with her bow and blade. She has not returned.)" the guard said.
The blonde hair walked through the gate and saw Lacheana. His icy blue eyes were staring into her fiery red eyes. "What is your business in the kingdom of Mirkwood?" his voice was cold and tentative. Lacheana stared at him with an annoyed look. A guard noticed the silence and explained to the blonde elf: "Lady Lacheana's voice was taken from her. She cannot answer your question, my prince." Prince? Why haven't I seen his face here before?
